Then again, being the kid everyone avoided in your youth would do that to you, as would losing the father figure who loved you before you even learned how to shave. Oh, and being unceremoniously thrown out of that village for saving a kid. And then there was that one time in the Guardian Shrine... And that other time in the Gate Generator...

Of course, all this hardships have only helped make him a stronger competitor in the DL. While he hasn't had the same luck as his companions in the ring, he's no slouch in a battle either. Taking down a former Godlike is no small feat, and neither is defeating the girl who once won against his Godlike friend. With the brutal firepower of his ARMs to back him up, Rudy's future in the DL is certainly looking bright.
