Of course, part of this is because he created Rune Cannons, perhaps the most dangerous weapon in the world of Suikoden. The other part is with his Mother Earth rune, he can unleash an avalanche of painful, defense-ignoring Earthquake spells designed to quickly rip his foes into pieces. And while he may be fragile and old, he's still surprising agile; good luck trying to pin him down with physicals.
