Guardian of Alent, watchkeeper of all the world of Grandia, safeguard against the return of Gaia, Liete leads a life of quiet reflection and servitude. Which, most likely, is why she was so easily lured away by the pure energy of the adventurer Justin and wrapped into his titanic struggle against the evil of Gaia. But while Liete was certainly the straight woman in Justin's deranged managerie, the years of solitude actually left her singularly quirky and somewhat out of synch with normal human thought.
Fittingly for someone who spent her life alone studying to defend the world should the need arise, Liete is a master of magic, possessing many of the most poweful spells in her world, including many only she can master. The devestating Enclose in particular, which traps any foe regardless of size or power, make her a terror in pitched battle, capable of sustaining a fight against any opponent. Backed with numerous healing spells, few can stand against her in a prolonged battle.
