Season 18, Week 3
Rosa Harvey
(Final Fantasy IV)

Having slapped down Geddoe with her unique mix of protection spells, healing, and blistering damage, Rosa has proved that she isn't a docile wife or someone to trifle with. Liete is an extremely dangerous foe, so Rosa will have to go on the defensive right off the bat to win. She'll open with Wall, shutting down Liete's incredibly nasty Enclose attack. From there, it's a matter of picking at Liete with status attacks and her explosive offense in the form of the Holy spell. Of course, she'll also be healing as needed - in case the magess from Alent actually manages to scrape together some form of offense.

After spending an eternity in the floating city of Alent, Liete is once again happy to descend and wreak havoc upon an unsuspecting Heavy. She’s already vanquished the Dragoon Haschel, and the White Mage Rosa is her next target. While Rosa does have scary magical damage and status, Liete’s impressive magic defense should protect her from the worst of Rosa’s assault, and the Baronian Queen’s Wall spell is often ignored by high-caliber spells - such as Liete’s fearsome Enclose. Against Liete’s powerful spells, Rosa is naught but a speed bump on Liete’s path to Grandia’s third championship.

The bigger skillset doesn't always let you win, as this match showed.

As Liete entered the arena, she mused outloud about the possible ways she could win this match. Blast Rosa to a crisp with living animated dragons, slash Rosa with wind until she bled unconcious, bury her alive, electrocute her, Enclose her, freeze her...

Rosa, on the other hand, merely smiled. And offered to use Peep on Liete, then give away, free of charge, all of Liete's weaknesses, strengths, taste in men, personal specifications, color of underwear, and various other initimate details to all that wanted them.

Liete instantly forfeited.

Rosa had to fry a few dozen perverts on the way out of the arena, though. Seems they wanted that info anyhow.
