Overlord is fine, good gameplay. There are of course some odd things in the plotting, but not too much worse than your average head-scratching-if-you-think-about-it sci-fi plot point.
A) Autistic people can talk with robots, because, you know, autism is like magic or something.
B) There's a part of Overlord that invokes the classic horror trope of going through a deserted, spooky, abandoned ship with unactivated death robots on the way in... and you can guess what it'll be like on the way out. Except. In just the previous section you already *fought* the rogue Geth, so, uh, it's not really a shocking surprise when these turn on. Buh. Stick this segment in FIRST.
C) Cerberus still has weird personnel policies. You'd think that a scientist who got his staff killed and his installation blown up would, if not be immediately executed, would get some extreme torture as his punishment for failure. But those softies are all "don't punish him, we like failed unethical research that wastes our resources."
