Few who have been part of the Stars of Destiny have as storied and lengthy history as Luc. Leaving the Crystal Valley behind at the behest of the Seeress, Leknaat, Luc lived with her for a long time on the Magician's Isle, leaving only when she bade him to serve under the Tenkai Stars with the Tablet of Destiny. All the while, however, Luc struggled with the burden of his True Wind Rune, bonded to him since birth due to the machinations of his 'father', Hikusaak. And while his methods were severe, perhaps even deranged, none can say Luc did nothing to change his fate.
Whatever else he might be, Luc's magical prowess is unquestionable, wielding nearly any magic with an effortless talent. More importantly, Luc wields his True Wind Rune with a skill not seen elsewhere, realizing the full potential of the rune without so much as a blink. With the raw might of Eternal Wind, the potent healing of Shining Wind, and perhaps some application of the Pale Gate rune he's taken to carrying, Luc's prowess is impressive indeed, far beyond so many other mages from his world. While his Duelling League interludes are few and far between, Luc's success is inevitable, frightening as the thought of such a destiny might be.
