Season 54, Week 2
Luc
(Suikoden Series)

Well well, a newcomer to the RPGDL in her debut match. It's a pity, but Luc's going to crush her right here and now. Naoto is capable of disabling her opponent in a single blow; it is a good move, but unfortunately for the Detective 'Prince', Luc has command over the True Wind Rune - particularly the deadly Funeral Wind, which does everything Naoto's instant death tricks can do, and more accurate and powerful to boot. The rogue Harmonian Bishop has an edge in both accuracy and speed - and with a spell that ensures his opponent's swift demise in a single blow, accuracy and speed are all he's going to need. Of the dead, say nothing but good - so, nice try, Naoto! Pardon the Lezard ripping.

The Duelling League is quite a different universe from the TV World, but ace detective Naoto Shirogane has the wits for it. Actually, getting by should be a lot easier, given the far less deadly nature of this bizarre environment. Naoto's first assignment in this fancy League is simple: track and neutralize the Harmonian Bishop Luc. Reasons? She could care less. However, she has just the right modus operandi for the task. With her Mudoon and Hamaon spells, sniping Luc definitely should be a cinch, and she has the speed edge. His own Funeral Wind and Open Gate could prove tricky, but with brilliant evasion, Naoto can keep out of trouble easily until the light (or darkness) catch up to Luc.

Luc looks and takes hits like a little girl. Naoto looks and takes hits like a teenage boy. Sort of. This is a massive improvement over Wind boy, who is known to die horribly when such fearsome fighters as Shiba attack him. A barrage of bullets and Hama magic will send this Emo suikoden reject home without a win.
