In so many of the great stories and most epic histories, young woman are described as spunky, the lively sparks which kept the rest in good spirits and inspired them to fight on. Nanami, however, puts them all to shame, practically a living bundle of energy who inspired her adopted brother in ways no one else could have and believing in him when practically his entire country thought him a traitor.
As befits one who borders on hyperactive, Nanami's best asset in battle is her speed, outstripping even the swiftest fighters of Dunan with ease. With her well trained nunchaku backing it up, Nanami's well set to knocking foes senseless practically before the first whistle is blown. And while she hasn't conquered Light just yet, she's certainly left a bit of a mark, enough that anyone should know that Nanami isn't done making her way into great stories just yet.
