Season 19, Week 4
Reis Dular
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Reis Dular has done more than her part in showing the world the powers of dragonkind this season, laying a brutal beating upon... Aeris and Jogurt. Well, the dragoner has hardly been in the toughest of matches this season, but she could still easily dispose of an unimpressive foe like Nanami. Her powerful (and sadly mistranslated) breaths ignore Nanami's evasion, the little girl's sole claim to fame in a duel. A few uses of Fire Bracelet, and only charred remains of the annoying martial artist will be left to mark the latest victim of Reis's wrath.

Never underestimate the power of speed. Karyl Sheedan learned this lesson last week, and the Holy Dragon Reis is next in line. Nanami is a fairly unremarkable fighter in all ways but one: the ability to strike first and strike repeatedly. And this is just as well for Riou's sister, as the only thing that saves Reis from utter genericness is the fact that she is a dragon. Sounds scary, perhaps, but it leaves Nanami with the clear edge in a fight. After all, Nanami has beaten an entire prison's worth of guards with the power of her grandfather's training; what's a dragon going to do to scare her?

As it turns out, Nanami's very good at talking her brother into anything.

I mean, anything.

And, from the distance the stands are at, it's kinda hard to see the combatants.

And, really, Nanami's as flatchested as Riou.

Of course, most of the more knowledgable people in the stands knew something illegal was up when "Nanami" cast Forgiver Sign on Reis, but it was a bit late by then.

Or would have been, except Holy Dragons aren't effected by holy.

Riou, realizing that winning this battle would involve getting burned/frozen/electrocuted repeatedly over and over, and that it'd probably do no good anyhow, decided that, for once, it wasn't worth going along with his sister, and walked out.

Nanami's ticked off at Riou, of course. She blames him for her getting disqualified. But that's nothing new, she blames him for a lot of things.

And she'll forget it in five minutes anyways.
