Nanami

Nanami has a good shot at this battle with her high evade. Sure, Grey has a 100% hit, but the very first hit from that attack is the tip of his blade, which can be evaded even though the whisps that follow will hit. And despite the fact that he does connect, if he technically speaking was evaded then his last two moves and PWS get cancelled. Energy Cannon is designed for blockers, not evaders. Nanami is also thanking Tri-Ace right now for giving Grey regular swordsman HP instead of greatswordsman. Will her speed give her enough time to kill Grey before he gets lucky with her evasion? Or will Grey's superior power make her evade moot?

 Invoking the power of the glacial blade, Grey the greatswordsman brings his excellent attacks and pathetic finisher to bear for another round of RPGDL action! Like his opponent, he's an atypical but nevertheless effective physical fighter. His Energy Cannon is unblockable (though it can be evaded) and his regular attacks are quite simply the second best overall among the Einherjar, trailing only Lawfer. His weaknesses should not be overlooked, though: low HP and Strength for a fighter, and a Purify Weird Soul that makes the likes of Sphere Strike and Flashing Blade look good. Still, despite this, his strengths should be enough to get him past the older (and strangely, much weaker) of Genkaku's adoptees.

When Nanami took one look at the imposing heavily-armoured greatswordsman Grey, she knew what she had to do.

She fled from the scary-looking black knight without a second thought.

By the time she learned that Grey, despite appearances, was one of the weakest of Lenneth's Einherjar, she was half a country away from the Arena, and the match had been over for hours.

Grey took a swing at Nanami "Hiyaa" only to have her jump out of the way. Nanami quickly responded with her nunchucks to which Grey responded "I will not die". Grey grew increasingly frustrated, though, as his attacks continued to miss.

"Do you see mee Riou? Hun? Hun? Do you? I'm kicking butt!"

This was just the distraction Grey needed. He quickly launced into his PWS hoping to finish her off. Of course Icicle Disaster being what it is, this didn't exactly turn out for the best.

"Hey! how dare you disrupt our sibling bonding." She said grabbing him and shaking him against the floor. "Don't you know familial relations are sacred!?!? Cmon, answer me! Say something!" She said shaking harder.

"I'm ... Sorry" and with that Grey crumpled into a pile of armor on the ground, the sheer force of being shaken by Nanami having disrupted the soul transfer magic.
