Running explorations with Paul or Pirate Jake.  Not worth the time IMHO, but the only other real option.

So!  Uh.

Had five summon tickets.  Of the five, the only unit worth noting as drawing was Cagnazzo.

Finally finished the Story Event after the Four Fiends started.  Got two more summon tickets!  Dropped the Salt Factories into the Four Fiends banner.  I get in return...  Sice...  And Barbariccia.

Well then, I suppose now I have someone to go with my eventual 7* Dark Fina.

Sol is beating my ass.

Granted my units are crap, but my guest has carried me this far.

I want that 100% Google.

Advice?

I don't remember what I used.  Attack/Magic break is good.  Dispel is good.  If you want a specific type of friend unit I can set one up for you.

Planning about how I can try to take down Marlboro.  Thinking a team of Barbariccia x2/Setzer x2/Rikku/Ilias might be enough.  Thoughts?

He's weak to dark, right?

My best units are: Halloween sakura with 500 magic.
Ramza
Zargabaath
Eileen
Bartz/kain lol/refia

Thing is my gear is bad.i guess I need to dispel him. Hmmm

Full break? I'm not sure...I have Vaan?

He's neutral to dark, he resists everything else and immunes light.  You're better off running no elements for this fight.

So he debuffs your party, but if you have buffs he'll Dispelga you first.  So when he debuffs you just cast a buff and he'll dispel his own debuffs.

Zargabaath has a good dispelling attack.  I'll put up 9S for you to borrow, he has 50% breaks.  Then just beat on him and keep your hp up.

So, uh.

I just chumped the trial Golbez in the FF4 event.

Full Mastery.

In five turns.

EDIT: Oh yeah, team set-ups would probably be nice, wouldn't they?

Setzer - Air Knife/Second Knife/Green Beret/Ruby Breastplate/Collar of the Blessed/Wind-up Titan - Fighter/Swelling Power/Follower's Oath/DEF +10% - Ifrit
Setzer - Survival Edges/Platinum Edge/Green Beret/White Robe/Genji Glove/Sun Barrette - HP +10%x2/MP +10%/Plant Killer - Diabolos
Rikku - Override/Mythril Buckler/Moogle Crown/Tabby Suit/Vitality Apparatus/Unusual Artifact - Follower's Oath x3/Mog Wisdom - Odin
Barbariccia - Draco Spike/Draco Spike/Creepy Mask/Great Mage's Robe/Ring of the Lucii/Magical Scrunchie - Renewal/Dual Wield/MAG +30%/Sage's Prajna - Shiva
RW Barbariccia

Strategy: Barbariccias Dualcast Tornado, Setzers use (Double) Dice, Rikku pops her LB.  I don't think the Shadow Dragon got a turn to act.  That was all she wrote.

Apparently never mentioned it here but I streamed multiple attempts to get Valvalis, kind of as an in joke due to a number of factors.  My result?

Mei and Magic can explain the "joke" if it's not obvious.

EDIT: Should be noted I'm still 100% F2P, and I was basically throwing my 100+ Tickets at her, got her on Ticket #40 or so (+however many Dailies + one 11 pull for shits.)

I spent five tickets on this banner, just because.

Within those five tickets, I got Gladiolus and my second Veritas of the Dark.

Dropping my EX Tickets, I get Ace.

12 Ex Tickets: Got nothing but a Dupe Ling...yes, that was the best I got.

10+1 Ticket from the 5000 lapis bundle: Oooh, a Rainbow! *Orlandu* ...well, I have a 2nd 7* Potential in the future at least?  Also Veritas of the Earth and Seven.

Bunch of Rare SUmmon Tickets: Jack shit, besides 2 Iris that I can use for the event.

G4 Ticket: Cor! At least it's a banner unit.

Also, I think I'm going to skip grinding the MK currency this weekend.  Combination of me running a 500% coin party (2x Noctis, Gladiolus, 2x Iris, RW Noctis), there being not much that looks worthwhile in the shop (the Thermal Suit I guess?), and Gil Snapper's Cave being open.

MONEY!

Yeah at this point I'm always running Gil Snapper Cave when it's open.  Enhancements cost too much, and Expeditions drain your regular supply of coins.

Farmed 3000 lapis this week so I could buy the Black Friday special without spending real money.  Been needing an upgrade to Enhancer for a loooong time, so Lohengrin is welcome.

Will finish Adventurer V this week.  With that, the new TM, and Ring of the Lucii I guess I could make some kind of hybrid build for Bartz or Noctis.  Really need a Genji Glove though.

So.  Did my daily draw fairly late tonight.  Well...

[23:25] * MagicFanatic just realizes he hasn't done the daily draw in FFBE yet, does so... 3* cracks, becomes 4*. 4* cracks, becomes 5*... 5* cracks... Out pops Luneth. I suppose that makes my fifth guaranteed 7* when they come out?

The list so far:
Lightning
Delita
Dark Fina
Veritas of the Dark
Luneth
(Noctis - Apparently this one isn't out quite yet in JP, but was recently announced?)

EDIT: So I decided to try pulling for Mystea.  Got her on my seventh ticket.  Guess I’m done with the banner?

Wanted to try and organize my thoughts on best builds I can make with the units/TMs I have.  Keeping in mind max attack percent increase is 300% from gear/abilities.

TMs I have/*can farm

*Sworn Six's Pride Dark - 30% atk with greatsword + 30% atk with heavy armor
*Dragoon's Pride - 30% atk with spear + 30% atk with helm
Katana Mastery - 50% atk with Katana
Large Sword Mastery - 50% atk with greatsword
Sworn Six's Pride Wind - 50% atk with spear
Dark Knight's Soul - 30% atk with sword + 20% atk with heavy armor
*Proud Fencer - 40% atk with greatsword + 20% hp
Wisdom - 30% atk + 20% hp
*Ring of the Lucii - 30%atk/mag accessory
*Awesome Swordsman - 15% atk with dagger or sword or greatsword or katana (30% total with 2 of these) + dualwield
various other 30% atk abilities

==========================
Duke (30% base, +50% atk with spear)
wielding spear, greatsword, helm, heavy armor
Awesome Swordsman (15%)
SSPD (60%)
Dragoon's Pride (60%)
SSPW (50%)
Lucii (30%)

=295%.  Very nice, especially with Duke having the highest base attack in the game.  Unfortunately my good greatswords are limited to Excalibur at 120 atk and then a big drop down to Apocalypse at 103 atk and Duke doesn't have any synergy with Light attacks.

=================
Luneth (30% base, 50% with dagger AND sword AND greatsword AND katana)
wielding greatsword, heavy armor, katana
SSPD (60%)
Large Sword Mastery (50%)
Katana Mastery (50%)

=290% with one ability slot and two accessory slots open.  Can use a flat 30 atk accessory for more than Lucii will provide.  Last slot for a killer or Hill Digger (30% hp, 10% atk)

==================
Orlandeau (30% base, 40% with greatsword)
wielding greatsword, heavy armor, and katana
Awesome Swordsman (30%)
SSPD (60%)
Large Sword Mastery (50%)
Katana Mastery (50%)
Lucii (30%)

=290%  Better than I thought!

===================
Veritas of the Dark (20% base, 50% with greatsword)
can use Orlandeau setup with 290% or Duke setup with 285%

==================
Loren (30% base, 50% atk with sword)
wields sword, spear, helm, and heavy armor
Dragoon's Pride (60%)
SSPW (50%)
Dark Knight's Soul (50%)
Wisdom (30%)
Lucii (30%)

=300%.  Optionally she can use her insignia and swap the Wisdom out for Hill Digger.  This costs 5% attack but gives her 25% more hp and more mp regen.
Lucii (30%).  Being stuck with Lohengrin as my best sword hurts though.

Based on this I probably need to work on Dark Veritas TM after I finish farming Lucii.

Decided to drop two 10+1 tickets just for the hell of it.

I got Nyx.

So what do I have that would be best for him...  Ulric's Kukri/Vernard?  Who would even properly chain with him?

He's honestly kind of bad.  Doesn't chain with anyone.  Probably the best thing you can do is use him as a finisher with his level 100 move and Fixed Dice.

So, decided to throw another four tickets at the Roy banner.

Rainbow Crystal comes down.

Out pops Duke.  What?

EDIT: Daily Summon today.  Out pops another Rainbow.  This time it’s Emperor.

Today's pulls: Emperor, Barbariccia, Knight Delita, Reberta (#2), and Tidus (#3).
