It's not like we're in a rush, and holding off a bit will give us more time to digest whatever happens over christmas. Better than rushing at least.

Given the overwhelming number of awesome ranking ideas currently floating around, if you're forced into a a choice between "push rankings forward" and "push rankings backward", then it's a no-brainer to choose the latter. Not even sure I see the argument, unless I'm seriously missing some good ideas that have surfaced for ranking in recent weeks.

Well, again, I wouldn't say there's nothing worth ranking now, but waiting until after Christmas does give us the chance to see what new games/systems we'll all have by then.

~~Er... When did we decide to push ranking back to every 4th Season? Our last Admittance Season was Season 52. We should be having ranking discussions now. Again, unless I missed a memo.~~

EDIT: Apparently I did overlook Mepple's memo.

I vote for the -2 Week option, if only because 3 weeks is not enough time to evaluate the games garnered at Christmas on their own merit. (Which means we rank them in early June.) Personally, I'd rather rank them in March or April, but meh.

Something tells me that whichever way we go, we'll be ranking this December's games in June anyway.

I voted to push it back to after Christmas. No need to stress getting it done beforehand.

After all, I'm sure only NEB is really eager to rank the P4 bosses, right? So there's no need to really get a move on, there.

Push it up. I don't see the minor extra delay providing any particular benefit, so we might as well just get it out of the way and get the feelers out for next ranking period.

It gives anyone who gets Persona 4 over the holidays time to beat the game before we spoil it via boss ranks. That's good enough a reason for me, considering anything besides P4 bosses is a really shaky idea right now.

As I remarked to chat the other day, I think there's literally one person in all the DL who's willing to play P4 but hasn't yet. Though points on there not being a strong second ranking idea are valid.

Actually I was talking about Sage. You're a good ways into the game and could easily get through to the relevant reveals in the time between "ranking starts" and "things are ranked", Djinn. Also *whips* finish P4~
