Topics that need to be ported

If I just give a game's name, all the topics of that game need porting.

I know at least a few of those are wrong. For instance, there's a Disgaea topic on this board now, although it is missing Kurtis and Mid-Boss and some other scattered info that's probably not all that important.

And I just transferred a few of those unranked games, though which ones I'm actually not sure. >_>

Lufia 2 has been ported, or um, redone evidently, don't know if it's missing something the other topic had
Phantasy Star 4 bosses have been ported (in the new Phantasy Star 4 topic)

Golden Sun 2 is ported

Gourry's WA2 Topic and my BoF1 Topics have been ported.

Lufia 2 topic is obsolete, as we have a new one with all the same info plus new stuff, etc.  This does NOT include the Sinistrals though, IIRC.

ALSO, for people porting topics, please do the following:

A. Give credit to the person who did the original topic, if you didn't do it.
B. Go through the ENTIRE TOPIC and pull out any info that is relevant and potentially not covered in the original post. Give credit to those who posted said info too, for that matter.

Edit: Oh, and the BoF3 Boss Topic has already been ported.  Just the PC one hasn't (which I'm working on this very moment.)

A few more things: Non Elfboy VP topics are largely unimportant; Elfboy's topic essentially added in what was important from them.

Do NOT port the MF6 Topics.  Don't try to argue this!  If someone ports them over and I didn't give the ok, I WILL bitch and whine about it til the end of time.  TO ARGUE WITH PORTING THESE IS TO ARGUE WITH GOD HIMSELF! (...as far as MF6 is concerned <.<)

FF6's more restrictive topic doesn't largely need to be transfered either, for that matter; when it was made, there was a significant number of people who CARED about it.  Since then, that is not really the case anymore (and if people do restrict the game, they restrict it in ways the topic didn't cover.)

FE7's level up topic *AND* Boss topic is generally unneeded; all info that was important there is now in the real topic, *OR* its on the FE7 data thing we have on site.  All in all, its unimportant.

Lufia 3's Sinistrals are covered already as well.  It seems Pyro merely merged his topic with the Lufia 3 PC one into one post, so I can see why it was missed.  In any event, its already there.

SD3 Bosses...Its really not there, huh?  In any event, transfering them NOW if so.  Do NOT do this yourself! Its my topic, so its best left to the person who ACTUALLY DID THE THING.  Work on transfering topics where the preson doesn't seem to exist anymore first.

Edit 4: SD3's Bosses were in fact ported; the SD3 Topic was just merged into one, instead of being PC and Boss split.

That reminds me!  Before porting a topic, double check whether this is the case; many PC/Boss topic splits were merged with the new site for organization purposes.

More stuff to go over! Rather than constantly edit, i'll make a new post this time so its more recognizable!

Anyway, Donald's FF1 Topic is obsoleted by Elfboy's, which covers the same stuff but is more updated.

The NonMeeple BoF4 topic...I'm not sure how to say this without seeming like a jerk, but its not really much different than my own so...<_<;

Psy's FFX-2 Boss Stat Topic is pretty much just an unfinished version of what Tonfa has, thus no need to port.

Radiata Stories hasn't been ported *HOWEVER*, keep in mind that only Dhyer's topic largely needs porting.  Captain K's was mostly preliminary work and figuring out how shit worked, etc. that eventually led to Dhyer creating his own topic based off that info.  There's no need to create two topics as a result, let alone really add Captain K's topic to Dhyer's for that matter.

FF3DS PCs are already there; I'll probably add Elfboy's notes on the bosses in a bit into that topic.

Lord Blazer does *NOT* need porting over.  I shouldn't have to explain why, really.

Robin Hood topic has no place on the new forums.  It is nowhere near finished and practically a pure place holder topic with early game PCs tossed in as a joke.  As a result, it should be ignored.  If someone wants to do the game, cool, but it'd be easier to just remake a whole new topic.

Starcraft and Doom are *NOT* RPGs, and therefor technically have no place in the DL; one was made as a pure joke topic (if with legit info), the other made purely for novelty as well.  Note that I am saying they SHOULDN'T be ported, but they're probably at the bottom of the list for priorities.

Elfboy's Grandia Topic is apparently obsoleted by Dhyer's, though I could be wrong; someone wanna verify this?

Regarding Star Ocean 3: There are *A LOT* of topics on the old board and pretty much all of them have no place here; I'm not gonna go into why, but basically, OK's topic covered everything important from all 3 topics in the grand scheme of things.  The stuff he missed is minor stuff that is easier just redoing since the previous numbers all contradict what OK had (made based off assumptions instead of raw figures, since we LACKED said raw figures.)

Niu's ACF topic is unneeded with Dhyer's already there, given the latter is a more complete version.

Beath of Flams has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT TO BE ON THIS FORUM.  It is a nonexistent game, with a stat topic based entirely off an IAQ that tried to correspond PCs with pre-existing DL PCs.  It is exactly the kind of topic that should not have been made.

That's about all I can see off the top of my head regarding obsolete topics and all that.

Mark off stuff you've ported so we can check this easily.  If you're in the process of porting something, might be a good idea to mark that too (and if you have your own topic you want to port yourself, note that too).

I have the Disgaea topic saved for updating when I'm um...less lazy/finish Grandia 2 stuff since based on D2, I think I get at least a decent handle on D1 mechanics.
