"Would you like to know the status of your Einherjar?"

"Would you like to know the status of your Einherjar?"
"By Xorn, that's annoying."
"Would you like to know the status of your Einherjar?"
"..."
"Would you like to know the status of your Einherjar?"
"THAT'S IT. DIE!"
"Would you like to know-ack!"

Knight and Black Wizard watched on as Emelious shredded Freya into scrap. "This reminds me of old times, BW." Knight said, happily munching popcorn.
"Don't remind me." BW grumbled.

Valvalis (FF4) Valvalis vs Fei Fong Wong Fei Fong Wong (XG)

Snowfire
Fei's fine with the occasional jumping kick in his repetoire, but the prospect of having to train at Dragoon school for the match didn't seem very appealing. Sure, there was charging up ki guided shots, and maybe some light Inner Healing... but why not purify the soul even better with some artwork? Fei might have forfeited the match, but the very flattering picture "The Elemental Whirlwind" did sell for a princely sum of gil.

Chris Lightfellow (S3) Chris Lightfellow vs Jessica Albert Jessica Albert (DQ8)

Lezard Valeth
'One week before the match'

"Are you sure you want me to use this sword?" Chris asked the blonde with

white blouse and blue skirt.

"Yes I'm sure", she replied.

"How do I use it?", Chris ask.

"You'll know how when you do", the lady replied vaguely.

"Why do you want me to use this sword?" The sword upon further inspection bears a resembles to Excalibur and its scabbard Avalon.

"Let's just say your victory will allow me and my compatriots to return to ourworld, just don't forget to return it after you're done with it."

"So where shall we meet?", Chris ask.

"We'll meet at that place called Grassland near Brass castle", the woman replied.

"Who are you anyway"?

"You can call me 'Saber'". And she dissapears into the night of Vinay del Zexay.

"Hmm, I wonder who she really is? she doesn't resemble any RPG character that I know of. Oh well this should come in handy", Chris thought.

'At the match'

As soon as the referee give the signal both sides begin to unleash their attack.

Chris as predicted use silent lake. "Great", Jessica thought, "Looks like I'll have to worn her out."

As most have thought, although she wears full platemail and carries a sharp sword she has some problem hitting Jess due to her evasion. "Looks like I'll have to use my secret weapon", thought Chris as she wears Avalon on her belt and pulls Excalibur out.

"What are you doing?" Jessica ask her.

"Hey that looks like Excalibur!" Orlandu exclaimed from his seat. "But its not stolen or anything, its still in your scabbard", Yuri said while pointing at Orlandu's scabbard.

While the audience is baffled with this latest development, Chris immediately transforms into a blond knight in blue dress with armor. Immediately she slashed her sword towards

Jessica. "Excalibur", she shouted and knocks her out of the Arena. "Did you see that, old man?" Edge said from his seat. "Yeah I see it. That sword of hers is powerful, but where did she get it?", mused Orlandu.

'At Grassland near Brass castle, after the match....'

"Here's your sword", Chris said as she tossed Saber her sword and its scabbard. "Now", Chris said as she draws her own sword, "You will tell me who you are or else...."

At that time dozens of RPG characters from Orlandu to even non-ranked RPG character like worker 7 appear out of nowhere to question and if possible to deal with this possible menace.

"Who are you and why do you have the same sword as mine?" Orlandu inquired.

"I'm Saber and my comrades and I are stranded here by accident", she replied.

"Saber we're ready, come on and hurry up"

"Coming Shirou".

"Well I must take my leave, farewell".

At this point Saber runs to a small area. There Chris and the others noted that there are others including an orange haired youth with jeans and a white shirt, an Asian woman with red shirt and mini-skirt, a white haired man in leather clothing, a blue haired school girl, a woman in short purple clothing with purple hair and wearing a blind fold, An Albino girl sitting on the shoulder of a dark skinned Giant, and a priest with a man wearing a golden armor.

"Well shall we leave this place. We don't belong here," the Asian woman said.

"Yes Rin", Saber said. "Good then let us commence the rite of teleportation to leave."

"That's too bad, I kind of like it here. No pollution or even school," the Albino said.

"Ilya," Rin replied. "We don't belong here and that is final."

"Hmm she does resemble Saber, perhaps I should ask her to marry me."

"Don't even think about it, Gilgamesh," Saber bark as the group vanishes.

"What was that all about?" asked Chris to Salome. "No clue my lady".

TimeLord (Saga) TimeLord vs Zophar Zophar (Lunar2)

SageAcrin
Timelord.

Intelligent, incredibly powerful...

Unbelievably outmatched.

There was only one thing to do.

---

"..." Ghaleon stared blankly at the poster, before burning it to ashes. Grimly, he stalked off down a hallway.

"...what was that all about?" Xenobia asked curiously, as she watched him walk off.

Royce simply pointed at another poster, which, in flowing script, simply announced that Timelord's only weakness was the unstoppable, flesh-crawling power of transvestites.

"These have been all over the place. No one's seen who's putting them up. Doesn't take much of a guess, does it?" Royce shrugged. "He's taking it about as hard as usual."

That's right.

The one thing to do, if you're going to get beaten to a pulp, is tweak Ghaleon.

Well, no, but it doesn't hurt.

Luca and Virgil are just nice bonuses.

And why Asgard's now sporting a striped ribbon is anyone's guess.

TimeLord: 17
Zophar: 41

Lezard Valeth
Well, if timelord can't even beat Ghaleon even if his life depends on it then how by Allah will he defeat Zophar.

Ghaleon then uses this opportunity to introduce the newest sailor. TL can't say no considering he's in body cast and the fact no one wants to mess with Ghaleon.

"Mommy", TL said when he sees Ghaleon approaching him with a sailor outfit.

Cress Albane (ToP) Cress Albane vs Lyon Lyon (FE8)

Pyro
He may have lost. He may have humiliated himself and his cast. He may have even involuntarily used a powerful healing spell on his opponent, but Lyon at least has the consolation that Eirika visited him in the infirmary. That made his day far more than any meager victory could. With such a perk, who was the *real* winner?

Still Cress, as it turns out. He got to celebrate a not-so-hard-earned win by going on a hot date with Mint.

Cress Albane: 46
Lyon: 9

CO Raven
As for Lyon and Cress, Lyon has staves to help him defend himself and heal while Eclipse wares cress down from long range, and Luna can ignore resistance. That's the thing about fire emblem black magic. If one tome won't work, another one most likely will

Sonya Shulen (S1) Sonya Shulen vs Alex Alex (Lunar1)

In RPGs, there are inequalities that hold true more often than not

Hero > Villain

Main character > Optional side character

Youth > Adult

Pluckiness > Experience

Idealism > Embitterness

Swords > All other weapons

Plot powers > No Plot Powers

Unique Equipment > No Unique Equipment

Heal-locks > Limited healing

Really, the result of this match was decided the moment these two were paired off.

Barbarossa (VP1) Barbarossa vs Lawfer Lawfer (VP1)

Lance
Barbarossa vs. Lawfer:

Swish! Clang! The battle between Barbarossa and Lawfer was a fierce one indeed. Every member of the audience was on the edge of his or her seat as the valiant Einherjar slashed away at the twelve-foot-high suit of armor before him. It was a true battle of David and Goliath, as the massive Barbarossa slashed his gigantic sword at the much smaller, more nimble Lawfer. Barbarossa was not able to strike his opponent very often, but when he did, Lawfer certainly felt the effects. Dark red blood seeped out from the joints of Lawfer's armor, but still he fought onward, determined not to disappoint the Lady Valkyrie. He landed blow after blow upon the mighty Barbarossa, but his attacks did not seem to have any outward effects. Was he really damaging the vengeful king at all?

"Ha! Can you endure this fire?" Barbarossa roared as he extended his hand and sent a plume of flame hurtling toward Lawfer. The exhausted Einherjar barely had the energy to roll out of the way of the scorching heat. Barbarossa was upon him in an instant, his enormous sword hurtling downward toward the young man's skull like a comet. Lawfer waited until just the right moment and swung his halberd with all his might. He connected with the side of Barbarossa's blade, deflecting the attack and throwing Barbarossa off-balance just long enough for him to rush forward and unleash his full fury.

Barbarossa did not even have time to recover. With a mighty cry, Lawfer swung his halberd again and again and again, sending the king up into the air and into a torrent of swirling green blades. "Justice Stream!" the Einherjar yelled.

Barbarossa slammed into the ground hard. His strength...it was leaving him. No! It cannot be! Had he exhausted all of his resources already? Had Lawfer defeated him once again? "No! I...I cannot die!" the once-powerful king screamed as his body dissolved in a blinding flash of light.

Lawfer could hardly believe it. Wounded though he was, he had won. He slumped down to his knees, one hand gripping his halberd while he labored for breath. What a glorious accomplishment this was. The last time he had fought Barbarossa, it had taken him, Valkyrie, and two others to defeat the mighty king. And even then, they had been so worn out that they could barely keep fighting when....

A horrifying thought struck Lawfer. That last time...after Barbarossa had been defeated once....

Moments later, the ring was enveloped in another blinding light as Barbarossa reappeared where he had fallen, his armor gleaming in the sun as if it was brand new -- as if it had not sustained any damage at all.

"Ha ha ha..." Barbarossa chortled softly as he leveled his sword at the exhausted Einherjar. "You seem surprised. Don't tell me you've forgotten our last battle."

Lawfer swallowed. He tasted copper.

"Well, I haven't," the newly-revived king snarled. "I haven't forgotten the way that you and that damnable Valkyrie humiliated me. You shall pay for your impudence. Oh yes, you shall pay dearly -- you and the Valkyrie...."

Before Lawfer could even stand upright, Barbarossa was upon him....

---------------------------------------

Lenneth paused in mid-flight. A faint twinge of pain gripped her chest; she knew right away what had caused it.

"Lawfer..." she whispered into the wind. She knew not what fate had befallen one of her most talented Einherjar, but she knew that this turn of events did not bode well for her.

Barbarossa: 49
Lawfer: 21

Zeikfried (WA) Zeikfried vs Artea Artea (Lufia2)

Gatewalker
Rather then a normal turn based battle, the judges decided to have Artea and Zeikfreid battle it out in a flat out brawl. A Smash Brothers Brawl, that is. But as Artea and Zeik were new at this whole 'fighting without turns' deal, they were each allowed to grab one partner from the ranks of the DL to help them out.

Zeik, naturally, went straight to the top and picked Mewtwo for his partner. After all, the psychic kitty was a godlike of great power AND had experience with this whole Smash thing. He was the obvious perfect partner. Mewtwo, when asked for his help, oddly doubled over, silently laughing as if he found something highly amusing, but agreed to 'help' Zeik out as best he could. Zeik found this behavior a bit odd, but simply chalked it up to the eccentricities of being a feline, and made his own preparations.

Artea, on the other hand, decided to actually do some research into this whole Smash Bros thing and tapped his fellow Heavy and heroic type character, Mario, as his partner. Mario agreed on the spot, and did his best to teach Artea how to hold his own in a Smash fight.

Come fight time, the two fighter and their partners found themselves unceremoniously dumped into Pokemon Stadium, causing Zeik to laugh and cheer about having the home field advantage, while Mewtwo snickered silently. The match was to be a 5 Stock battle, with no items.

And after that surprisingly short battle, Mario and Artea were the ones left standing, having only lost 2 lives each. This result surprised nobody. Well, nobody except Zeik.

He was rather furious, turning on his partner and screaming, "You're a GODLIKE!!! One of the most powerful creatures ever created!!! HOW COULD YOU LOSE SO QUICKLY!?"

In response, Mewtwo just couldn't hold it any longer and used his psychic power to implant his own Smash Bros. record right into Zeik's mind. The resulting look of sudden understanding and horror of just what he had brought upon himself that dawned on Zeikfreid's face was all Mewtwo really wanted. That one look made the whole process of getting his own butt kicked by a plumber and an elf totally worth it.

He might be an unstoppable(usually...) psychic mutant, but Mewtwo was still a cat, and thus a very contrary critter.

Zeikfried: 14
Artea: 41

Lich (FF1) Lich vs Seifer Almasy Seifer Almasy (FF8)

Sei
Seifer is a Sorceress' Knight, a mere minion of a magic-user.

Lichs are sorcerors that have gained enough power to cheat death, and has since used their unlife to gain even more power. They are thus, amongst the strongest of magic-users.

I don't need to spell it out any more, do I?

Lich: 40
Seifer Almasy: 32

Gort (SF1) Gort vs Grand Master Grand Master (FF1)

Namagomi
Fists and axes flew, as Grand Master and the dwarf fought hard. It seemed almost as if the fight wouldn't end, but Grand Master saw a weakness. He didn't want to, but Gort jumped in the air whenever he attacked...

And then Grand Master punched him really hard in the balls.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Hitting things in the face really hard with an axe is one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with a punch where the sun don't shine.

Gort: 12
Grand Master: 45

Sceptile (PKMN) Sceptile vs Blaziken Blaziken (PKMN)

Taishyr
It's one thing to be a Grass Pokemon and get burnt to death.

It's another thing entirely to be a Grass Pokemon and have your body used as a funeral pyre for the rest of the opponent's opposition.

And it's just saddening when the opponent is, of all things, a Fire Pokemon.

All in all? Sceptile just conceded as soon as the match was announced.

And then Blaziken Hadoken'd him in irritation.

Some days, Sceptile just can't win.

Sceptile: 2
Blaziken: 59

Kurtis (Disgaea) Kurtis vs Ragnar Ragnar (DW4)

Opera Vectra (SO2) Opera Vectra vs Melville Melville (S3)

Joou Ranbu
The battle was fierce and fast. Waterfalls fell full-speed, mountains shattered, laser beams clashed with sword edges. Then, a flying Blastoise wearing nightgowns appeared granting wishes. However, it was pretty dumb, so every time it granted a wish, it actually created Shion fanservice instead, much to the horror of peasants.

At least, that's what Melville said in the day after his match with Opera, as he recovered from his horrified stupor and wall-splitting migraine. Alanis couldn't help but giggle relentlessly, while Elliot shaked his head in disbelief. The leader of St. Loa's Knights, so shamefully felled by a floozy with three eyes and a glorified BB Gun. But then, looking back, it was comprehensible why it happened.

============

"Wait. So, you challenged that wee little boy to a drinking game contest instead of an arena fight?", Deis blinked as she deadpanned.

"It was easy to convince the judges, really. They -did- hesitate to make the drinking game 'watch XS3. Every time Shion does something stupid, have a drink. If the writers do something headdesk-worthy, take two', but a little cleavage solved the deal. Edge being one of the judges makes things easier, y'know", Opera snickered openly. "Besides, the kid probably enjoyed it. I just hope he can handle the hangover without hallucinations, that was some pretty thick stuff."

"I suppose. I just can't wait to see the DL soccer moms driving up your house and rallying after this... well, the two or three of them", Deis snorted plainly.

Opera opened a bottle of wine and widely smiled, grabbing a cup to pour the drink in. "Exactly my plan, girlfriend. Now, do you want a drink?"

Opera Vectra: 46
Melville: 20

Nina Wyndia (BoF3) Nina Wyndia vs Zieg Feld Zieg Feld (LoD)

Gatewalker
Things were looking to be a pretty standard day in the Light arena as Zieg was preparing for his big match with the third Nina. That is, of course, what had him worried. A 'standard day' in the Light arena usually involved some manner of higher ranked dueler coming in to play jokes(or just trample all over) the poor defenseless Lights. Light matches were also where many of the more bored Godlikes came to judge matches, because here they could get away with just about anything they wanted. After all, it was Light, nobody cared except for the duelers in question, and sometimes not even them.

But Zieg was wrong about this day. It wasn't a standard day in Light, it was instead a very mundane day in Light. Nothing strange happened at all, and the judge of their fight wasn't interested in anything but a good clean match.

Never before in his life had Zieg ever hated being wrong this much.

Why? Because the only thing more embarrassing then losing to Nina 3 because some bored Godlike decided to make it a strip tease is losing to Nina 3 in a fair fight.

Nina Wyndia: 36
Zieg Feld: 20

Meg (Suikos) Meg vs Sten Sten (BoF2)

Magic Fanatic
After three hours of programming, Meg finally stood up. Changing a few of the codes in Gadget's programming was difficult, but it needed to be done if she didn't want to lose by disqualification of interference. Robots in the DL were starting to be programmed to attack perverts in the act on sight; Gadget flipping out during the match would be a bad thing.

Sten, however, had other ideas. He assumed to be his general pervert self, get a free grope, and a pass to the next match from disqualifying Meg due to robots in the audience attacking him.

The match, however, soon became akin to the famous Lucca vs. Lilka finals match of fame back in Season 30. It started out normally enough with Meg and Sten trading blows, Meg moving back to heal and Sten upping the ante for damage. About halfway through the match, it looked as if Sten was moving in for a physical attack and...

...Got straight at what he was aiming at - Meg's chest. At that very moment, Time seemed to stop as things registered... And Meg went haywire before the robots in the crowd finished registering processes. Pieces of Sten were cut from their origin and went flying everywhere. Pieces of leg were strewn across the arena, skull fragments could be seen in a spot, and the hands were missing completely. Sten's evisceration was performed with such speed and brutality that Luca Blight of all people could be seen cheering Meg on.

Using the Trick Rune on all the remains was probably overkill, though.

The judges (sans Luca), just sat and stared in awe of this one-man massacre. Three minutes finally revealed the conclusion.

"MAN that felt good. So I won, right?"

There were no objections.

The light show after the match was a spectacular sight to see. Meg was nowhere near it, as she was removing her pre-match edits to Gadget while humming a happy tune...

Meg: 50
Sten: 17

Asch (TotA) Asch vs Taya Taya (SF2)

Pyro
Taya could only stare up in awe. So much blood everywhere. Her blood, pooling beneath her and splattered around the arena. When had Asch become so powerful? But a single attack had sent Mitula's disciple to the ground hard. Why...?

Taya's mind drifted off into oblivion as Asch the Bloody wiped off his sword and snickered. It had been so very easy to convince Nergal, Valter, and Mithos that his Unknown form was perfectly legal. Sometimes fate smiled on even those who lived cursed lives.

No one figured out what a Dime was. Yuffie stole a MIME because she asked Cloud what a Dime was. Cloud remembered a MIME from when he was in Ivalice.
Rei thought he could beat all but he stole a CHIME. Edge just stole some girls panties.
Locke stole someone's clothes. The B-day Suit didnt have a dime on them.
Legault went to FE9 and stole some weapons, and even a Coin from a raven, but a Coin in FE sells for 1 gold, making it a Penny and not a dime.
However TIME lord travelled to modern times and brought back a dime. Though since he was fighting Zophar this week, it didnt count.
