The Adlehydian Princess is one step from her chance to be crowned more than just Queen of Adlehyde, but RPGDL Heavy Champ. However, she'll have to get by Tidus in the Semis. A skillful foe, to be sure, but his poor magic defense will allow her to take full advantage of his weaknesses. He has some speedy damage, but nothing a few full heals can't cure. Neither will his Evade & Counter do much for him, as Cecilia is unlikely to come out swinging. Any spell from her impressive arsenal, in fact, could seal Tidus' doom. It's just a matter of picking the right one... |

For the star player of the Zanarkand Abes, his game is all about speed; whether it's driving for the goal in Blitzball, saving Spira from Sin, or facing his opponents in the Arena. And it's what's going to give him a trip to the Finals instead of his rival. Cecilia is known for being near impossible to stop if she can get past the opening rounds, but with Haste and Quick Hit, Tidus can easily take advantage of her lacking speed and very low durability in order to take her out before she can do a thing to stop him. Score one for the young MVP! |
Meeplelard Cecilia went into this match confindent. She had to do the same to Tidus as she did to Auron, and especially easier since Tidus has lower magic defense... Except she forgot one small aspect: Prison doesn't work when your put to sleep. Tidus' nice little sleep strike weapon will make sure Cecilia doesn't get the turn she needs to use Prison.
