A star blitzball player from Zanarkand, and the most unlikely of Yuna's Guardians, Tidus nevertheless ended up playing a pivotal role in the fate of Spira. Although sometimes seen as self-centred and whiny, he was the catalyst that led Yuna and her party to rebel against tradition and finally strike down Sin for good.

His skills as a blitzballer have made him a master of quick moves, and his magic complements this perfectly. Tidus can strike three times per turn with his Quick Hit skill, and has the Haste and Slow spells to further gain a turn advantage over his foe. With these abilities, and two outstanding weapons in the Caladbolg and Sonic Steel, Tidus is a Heavy to be feared, and his record proves it.
