Season 21, Week 3
Jack van Burace
(Wild Arms)

The cowboy's blade shines brightly this week. The Dream Chaser makes his first appearance in the DL since dispatching renowned Esper Rune Walsh, facing - yes - a Shining Force boss. This will be a quick, bloody battle of strength and agility, with Galam's natural double-turns going toe-to-toe with Jack's lightning-fast reflexes. Fortunately, this is a quickdraw well within Jack's capabilities. A bevy of Trump Cards and Magnum Fangs should easily stop the possessed king, and Jack's reputation of honour shall echo through the whole of Filgaia - and the Duelling League.

King Galam is on a mission to prove his superiority over the petty demons and devils which inhabit the DL, and conquering Heavy will be a good start. After crushing his first enemy, Culgan, his next match is a bit more of a challenge. Explorer and handyman Jack van Burace is no stranger to fighting demons and other minions of evil, but it's always been with the help of two companions and a mouse. Will he fare that well alone and against a full-blown demon? If Galam has his way, he'll destroy the whimsical wanderer and come that much closer to overcoming all of Heavy… and the world!!!

After the embarassing display of cleavage last week, King Galam was prosecuted by the RPGDL Squad of Decency. And his sentence was declared to be getting smashed by a giant meteor. Since Galam wasn't alive for his match of the week, the victory was given to Jack.

However, they never thought about removing the horrible pink tank-top from the King. The mausoleum where his remains will be kept until he is summoned to the DL halls again was lauded as the "Queen Galam of the Desert's Hangout", frequented by such greats as Millich Oppenheimer, Simone Verdricci and Augustine.

I'm sure no one of us needed to know about this, nor cared, nor actually wanted to. However, sometimes, DL records just have to be filled in the most shameful way possible. It's not like people care about Queen Galam, anyway. <_<
