Season 21, Week 1
Veronica Vera
(Shadow Hearts: Covenant )

Veronica Vera has plenty of experience dealing with bad boys and, well, they don't come much more rotten than the murdering, betraying Dycedarg Beoulve. And with Veronica's tongue as sharp as her whip, Dycedarg's sure to get a double-lashing for his misdeeds. Rasputin's right-hand wench has a number of elements to choose from to punish her foe, but whether she chooses to roast him, tear at him with freezing winds or simply bury him under the earth, the result will be the same. Only one fighter can remain standing after this fight and Veronica's not about to submit to some demon's human lackey. If all else fails, maybe the roguish noble can be persuaded to see the error of his ways by a session of some...stimulating shock therapy.

Dycedarg is truly a reflection of Russia’s Grigori Rasputin, the classic power behind the throne. Which of course makes him, and any of his minions, nothing but a stone to be crushed beneath Dycedarg’s mighty heel. And the mighty Lune Knight is well equipped to do just this: armed with defenses many would kill to possess, the best weaponry a royal treasury can buy, and of course the devastating abilities of both the Holy and Divine Knights, he is a nigh-unstoppable force in a duel. And although the fearsome Hellcry Punch will do little in this battle, the awesome Holy Explosion is potent as ever, and will quickly dispatch the demon-fused dominatrix. The road to power is littered with corpses, and Veronica is as good a brick as any to start with.

Adumbro Deus
Both fighters came out cool, confident. Both were expecting victory, however one of them had another thing coming. Dycedarg's holy explosion came as quite a shot to Veronica, especially due to it's unique effectiveness against her due to her demonic nature. Eventually, that as well as Dycedarg's superior swordsmanship, laid Veronica to rest.
