So, how about the Team Match, ay? Team Yuri is all about the physical affront. While Yuri does have some magic from his various monster forms, Delita, Edge, and Rennac have nothing but their physicals and a few techs. This is not to say that they aren't capable of handling themselves in the Monstrous Pit, of course, as they all have proven! Yuri will lend himself to support, most likely, keeping his team buffed and healed. Delita may opt for a status assault but more likely he'll just keep using his strongest Holy Sword skill, while Edge lays on a beating with his ninja swords and Rennac chips in with his knife damage. If Yuri does get around to offense a For The Children could easily turn the tide, or he could conserve resources with a much cheaper Energy Charge and Physical combo. Taking out White Wizard and Elena should be child's play, and with a fully buffed party, not even Beatrix and Ghaleon can hold up for long.

But will it be enough to get past Team Ghaleon? Ghaleon's not used to having to play second fiddle, but he now has more than enough motivation to avenge himself upon the cocky Harmonixer. Unlike Team Yuri Ghaleon has a mostly magical team, specifically one built for healing, and healing, and plenty of healing. This should suit Ghaleon just fine, however, as he has plenty of offense to spare. Beatrix can supplement the Magic Emperor, or she can use her own healing or magic. Elena can chip in a White Apocalypse or two, but she may want to conserve resources instead. White Wizard, of course, has pretty much nothing BUT healing, though a few hammer strikes aren't out of the question. Rennac dies to a stiff breeze even with For Tomorrow, and Edge isn't much better. Delita and Yuri are good, but if they can't get past Team Ghaleon's healing reserves it's all for naught.

Both teams are well-equipped for this sort of fight, but who can say what happens in the Monstrous Pit, ay? Have fun deciding, signors!

And decide you will, as you enter and vote in the MONSTROUS PIT!

Of course, all those team matches can be awful confusing, so if you feel like you need a second opinion, the Season 34, Week 6 topic is ready and waiting.

Welcome to Behind the Scenes, where the passcode for today is "We Love Yuri Hyuga". It's the wind-up week for Season 34, and the champions have been crowned. And they're in the studios with us today, along with the usual gang of idiots and your host, Chisato Madison.
Hello. Before we begin, I'd like everyone to empty out their pockets. Ultros, go take all the fukus, disguise pens and other magical girl paraphernalia.
Got it.
I'm only going to say this once: we have absolutely no idea how Ghaleon's going to react to his loss. So don't do anything that could set him off.
Like breathing?
I don't know if I can stop doing that. And before you say anything, I don't want any help about that.
Fine. Our first guests are from Light. Say hello to runner-up Rennac and champion White Wizard.
Hello.
Hi!
I'm going to say two words that have dogged your careers throughout your time in the DL. Invasion. Gender.
Really? I thought it was obvious I'm a guy.
Rennac, the Fire Emblem armies are widely considered to be the first ones to start all this "invasion" nonsense. How has that affected your stay in the DL?
It hasn't been that bad. I know some of the higher profile fighters get annoyed, but most of us are just content to wait for our shot.
Really?
Of course. And if you don't believe me, just ask the dozens of other Fire Emblem fighters who are quietly waiting around for nobody to notice them and then... wait a minute... damn it! The whole plan's ruined now.
Huh? What was that? We kind of just tuned you out.
Oh, nothing, bwa ha ha...
How long do you think it'll take him to realize that everyone else was paying attention?
I put the over/under at three beatdowns.
White Wizard, are you a boy wizard or a girl wizard?
Um... I'm not sure.
You're not sure? I'd think it was a simple question.
Which way to the bathroom?
Second door on the right, ma'am.
Thank you.
You were saying?
Really, I'm not certain.
I've seen The Crying Game. Don't do anything that'll make me throw up.
It's not like that. It's just that all of my cast can actually be either gender, and I'm not sure which one I am today.
That is disturbing on more levels than I thought I was capable of thinking of.
What, two? In any case, since you're here already, let's go to Middle, with Edge and champion Elena.
Yo.
Hi there.
On second thought, we've talked to you all way too much, so go away.
Sure.
A reprieve! Thank Granas!
I don't get it... they refuse to show up when other people are here, but then they're happy to not be interviewed by the original team.
Of course it doesn't make sense. We're a society based around ritualistic combat. I'd be disappointed if anything here was sane.
And now for Heavy, with a phrase I never thought I'd say and mean: "two-time Heavy Champion". Hello, Beatrix.
Good day.
So is this finally the season you cast off your Heavy roots and make it to Godlike? You're undoubtedly the most storied fighter in my old division.
I shall try, at least. After my triumph here, there is nothing left to do but test my skills against the best of the league.
Are you at all concerned at Delita's comments earlier this week that he'd avenge his loss to you?
What can he do to me?
There she is!
Get her!
What the?
Die!
Get away from me!
Tria, Delita... what did you do to them?
You know how someone "leaked" a copy of Lezard Valeth and the Deathly Hollows a few days ago?
You didn't.
I did. And there's a very vicious puppy-kicking character named Beatrix Lestrange in there. It's not my fault if people can't separate reality from fiction.
And yet more proof that people without noses are so much better than people with noses.
All right, everyone get your gear on, it's time for Godlike... huh? What's this?
It looks like a letter.
My fellow duellers; I have gone off to train. After losing to that wretched Harmonixer, I have come to the conclusion that I had succumbed to the greatest foe of all: my own pride. Thus, I am now on a quest to better myself. Do not come looking for me, unless you seek an early grave as well. PS: I shall still be there for the Team Match, so don't get cocky!
Wow. When I lose, I just go and binge on ice cream.
Maybe that's why you're still in Light.
No, that's why her pants don't fit her anymore. She's still in Light because she's a bad fighter outside of the studio.
Care to test that theory out, skull?
Pfft, only if you can catch me, porky.
That's all from us this season at Behind the Scenes, though I can't help but think that we forgot something...
I... won?!
Oh well, I bet it wasn't that important. Good night!
