Indeed, this warrior is perhaps one of the more... difficult... ones to join with the Flame Champion's Army, but his determination to slay evil wherever it may lurk is something that makes him invaluable... although you have to pity Rico, some days.

In a duel, Fred's Sword of Thunder spell combined with the ever-sharp (although Rico never gets thanked for it...) Top Knight Heart allows Fred to deal out punishment on a grand scale, and his defenses frighten even seasoned DL fighters. Indeed, underestimating Fred Maximillian is a move many will not live to regret.
