FIT Season 51, Heavy Quarterfinals

Considering the other Heavy Pools, Daos runs a tight ship.

And the one tied match... Lyon vs Serge.

Daos is the only perfect Heavy in the set.  Joining Angelo are Tana (by H-to-H over Zero) and Marsilio (who got a tie in his match with Geno).

And as for the Wild Cards...

Win   Tie   Loss   Avg.   Noms   Rating   Pool
Lady Harken   3   0   1   0.750   8   4.39   3
Zero   3   0   1   0.750   7   4.28   1

Bosch   2   0   2   0.500   7   4.52   4
Renee Kearse   2   0   2   0.500   6   3.81   1

Nope... can't overlook that big of a Nominations difference.  Sorry, Serge.

Worse yet, with how the 1st place rankings are structured, we have a 50% shot on each side of getting Same-Pool matches in the Semis.  (We originally had 2 in the Quarters...)  Ah well, at least we'll have an original Final.

vs

vs

vs

vs

Or, put another way,

Daos vs Lyon
Angelo vs Lady Harken
Marsilio vs Zero
Tana vs Celia

Voting ends Monday Night

Daos vs Lyon- Resist status, 3HKO. She's lucky that I don't allow spell focusing.
Angelo vs Lady Harken
Marsilio vs Zero
Tana vs Celia- Assassins are bad news for FE PC's.

Daos vs Lyon - The realization that Daos is durable is horribly wrong.
Angelo vs Lady Harken - She should get a pretty disgusting Maximum Risk here. Not that it needs to be.
Marsilio vs. Zero - Eh.
Tana vs Celia - Fasters.

It gets even better when you realize that L2 defense sucks at endgame and he doesn't even get tagged for that!

Can't Angelo OHKO Harken eventually?

Daos vs Lyon
Marsilio vs Zero: Assuming the morph stops Marsilio from 2HKOing.
Tana vs Celia

She's too much faster and borderline 2HKOs him off the bat. Don't think that's working too well.

EDIT: Especially when even healing undoes his tension. Baaaaaaaaad combo there.

Angelo vs Lady Harken- Oh good, I wasn't misremembering Healing undoing tension.  So yeah, trying to stall her while her damage kinda sucks is a no-go.
Marsilio vs Zero- Kneejerk.
Tana vs Celia- Owwie.

Maximum Risk is ITD. Azrael is not, but given how badly he's struggling to break past that and how DQ8 buffs need a lot of stacking to not suck and run out sorta fast...

Daos vs Lyon: Think he has just enough durability to win this slug fest.
Angelo vs Lady Harken: Forces Angelo to go onto the defensive without really letting him get a chance to do the damage he needs.
Marsilio vs Zero: I was thinking Zero going 2nd cost him the fight, but then I remembered his Hyper mode's speed boost, which is enough to let him instant lap Marsillo, so the first turn thing is negligible, and he should be able to outslug from there.
Tana vs Celia: Stop Bracelet, Shadow Stitch, etc.

Fullheal does not use up tension.  It doesn't have the capacity to be boosted (automatic max), so doesn't use it up.  So technically, he can.

That matches my memory as well. I don't see why he can't alter buff+Full heal until he's in good enough shape to move on with the fight. Even if She 3-2's off the bat, she should be slowed down by Buff.

Buff fails a bit too much to be worth noting. That said, since he has Kacrackle, he can tension any time he ISN'T 3-2'd. (I don't think Harken hits 150 on him if he uses Mercury's Rapier.) Would have to look into the numbers more.

EDIT: Wait, no he doesn't have Kacrackle, despite being the ice-alligned PC. Weird! Well, wind and physicals both fail against Harken, so to win he basically needs Lightning Storm (and if we re-allign his skills to have that, the damage average does go up) and either 3 or 4 levels of tension depending on where the numbers fall.

EDIT: Harken clocks in at around 153% speed to me, apparently. (Though much less if I decide to factor in Jane... hmm.) Angelo is... faster than I thought, though I'm too lazy to calculate how fast. Regardless, even if he's only like, 115%, that's enough here.

Daos - Lyon would win if his defences were swapped!
Angelo - See above.
Zero - Does that lapping thing.
Celia - Faster.
