Season 38, Week 3
Maya
(Legaia: Duel Saga)

A sweet, innocent, and small girl, Maya holds a large secret. She is a Mystic, one of the few left in the world. With the power to cast potent healing magic, to attack with the powers of the elements, and to summon her Origin Rivas, Maya is one girl that you do not want to cross. Caina may also be able to summon fearsome allies, but Maya does not fear the gender-confused keyholder. After all, Caina is slower than she, so Maya needs to only heal until there's an opening, and over time she'll build up to her fearsome Mystic Arte, Forbidden Rite. And with regeneration and good status resistance, Maya has little to fear from Caina’s damage or status anyways.

Caina's quest to conquer Middle continues...for great justice! Well, okay, it's just to impress Vinsfeld. After all, that hussy Antenora took the division title herself a while back, and Caina can't let her chief competition hog the spotlight, can she? Caina's opponent this week bears a thematic resemblance to a certain umbrella-wielding sorceress Caina fought in her own game - so why not employ the same strategy once again? Silence shuts down mages everywhere, after all. For that matter, Disease or Sleep will do just as well against the young Mystic. Surely Caina's Gate of Isolde will mark Maya's entry to the afterlife this week.
