Season 31, Week 2
Katt
(Breath of Fire II)

Languishing in Middle after her fight with Virginia and subsequent upgrade way back in Season 15, Katt has had much time to refine her technique. But her strategy is the same as ever, pairing blistering speed with powerful stack whacks and potent critical strikes. That's significantly simpler than the tiny puppet master she faces today, but all too often the simplest strategy is the best. Bebedora isn't exactly noted for her speed, and takes hits rather like the little girl people mistake her for. Her dark spells will certainly inflict their share of hurt on Katt, but with speed so lopsided, it really doesn't matter.

After a downgrade from Heavy to Middle, the puppeteer makes her first appearance in many, many seasons. As an expert at mind control as well as more conventional status-slinging, Bebedora isn’t really the kind of dueller anyone wants to encounter in the Arena, least of all a little kitty-cat like Katt. The catgirl has more offense than she'll ever need, but very little defensive ability to back it up, while Bebedora has pretty much all the tools that it takes to outlast her in a fight. Parasitic healing from Divide and status from any source she wants should whittle down Katt, and help Bebedora return to her dark glory.

Grefter
This match had the biggest ticket sales all week. Yet none of the audience showed up to Katt's victory.

Some militant groups decided to take this chance to do some good for the world. First of all, they organised for an unannounced change of venue for the match so that it could continue uninterrupted as planned. Then when all the fans showed up they gassed the entire arena.

The only people that turn up to a Catgirl vs Demi-human match are freaking furries. Take that world!
