A duck with a halberd is an odd sight indeed. A duck with a water rune, a halberd, and the ability to badmouth Hugo is even more interesting. Joe's got healing, a good attack, and all the powers of webbed feet as well. But his most powerful tool is Silent Lake. With that he can shut down all magic as needed. And this is all a good thing, since it'll help him greatly against Paula. Without magic, Paula is much less of a threat than she normally would be. With her low durability, all Joe has to do is open up with Silent Lake, then beat her down nice and fast. Shouldn't be too tough for the mighty duck.

Paula's PSI powers will be matched here against a duck. Lucky for her, even if the good Sgt. Silent Lakes the battle, she's still got her Pray for some free, non-magic healing. And thanks to her game best defensive items and her frying pan of pain, she's in good shape here. Plus, if Silent Lake doesn't come around, there's plenty of fun to be had with her PSI powers...

Joe casts Silent Lake. Now, lets do a comparison here:
Ducks can fight physically well. Suikoden 3 has shown us this with Sgt. Joe and Rhett.
Daycare center 13 year old Caretakers can't fight. Earthbound showed us this with...Paula.
Sgt. Joe holds a big scary (appropriatly yet oddly named) Duck Halberd, which can go smacky smacky or slicey slicey, depending on your interpretation.
Paula uses a Frying Pan.
Being hit on the head with a frying pan hurts in a comical fashion.
Sgt. Joe himself has a comical appearance as is.
Be is fighting Prowess, Weapon, or Comedic Value, Joe has this match in a Silent Lake war. What? No Silent Lake? Oh, Joe still has Healing and Paula still has...games lowest HP...
Sgt. Joe: 7
Paula: 3
