Season 12, Week 2
Ramus Farmain
(Lunar: Silver Star Story)

Life among the filthy-rich elite of Meribia's business district hasn't exactly made Ramus a capable fighter - after all, he's gotten so rich that he even hires people to lug all his money around. What's a fat kid with no detectable stat growth to do, then? Fortunately, Ramus is well-versed in medieval history, and he knows that priests can seldom keep their pledge of frugality. Ronfar's hardly the strongest-willed of people, and who can deny the power of a few bucketloads of Silver?

Lady Luck has been kind to Ronfar this week. Did She seriously expect him not to flatten a character with no actual growth past a certain point? Please. Even though Ronfar's damage is rather lackluster, it’s easily enough to crush a fighter as puny as Ramus. He may be best-known and best-used for his extensive knowledge of healing prayers, but he may not even need to use for this battle. A few good hits with his mace should suffice to kill his pathetic "opponent."

Ronfar knew that he could easily beat Ramus in a duel, but he decided to wanted to hit Ramus were it really hurt: his pocket. Instead of beating Ramus down, Ronfar instead challenged the greedy shopkeeper to a gambling match with Ronfar's dice. Needless to say, Ramus not only left the arena a loser, but also completely broke.
