What's this? Someone dares to pull the almighty genius Luccia away from her important scientific research to participate in some duel? And worse, out of all the exotic specimens she could have been given, they chose some run of the mill circus girl? Iggit iggit iggit! What a waste of time! And the potential match-ups in the next round are even worse... bah. No matter. It's not like she's obliged to try hard in this fight. She'll just get in, try to infect Shabon with the samples in her syringes, then maybe let her pet amoeba play. Mein Gott, but these tournament organizers really need to get their priorities straight.

As a petite, inconspicuous travelling minstrel, someone like Shabon might usually be perfect pretty for a kidnapping-crazy, possibly evil scientist like Luccia. But thanks to her Wind Rune and whopping punching skills, Shabon packs quite a bit of oomph! Even if that doesn’t deter Luccia - after all, a key part of being a mad scientist is being mad and persistant! - Shabon’s plentiful evasion and full healing should keep Luccia’s needles from doing too much damage, and her status spells should send that hausfrau running back to her lab as fast as her legs will carry. Maybe this will teach Luccia for once not to prey on the small and weak!
