Season 33, Week 2
Zalbard
(Shining Force 2)

Let loose the dogs of war and you shall come to regret it!This foolish dog invasion is but a sad ruse, and Zalbard has no fear of such a kennel. Having seen a lengthy campaign before, he has nothing to be scared of against this Sir Leopold. Besides, how effective can a dog with a stick in its mouth be? What is it going to do? Hit people with it? It isn't like it can bite any more or rip into his throat. Pfffft, pathetic weakness in the face of hitting things with sticks and repeatedly screaming out "LIGHTNING BOLT!", while throwing "Spell pouches" at the enemy. Zalbard is in quite a position of power, and his vicious nimbleness and sharp physicals will put this stupid mutt out like a lethal injection - and, of course, he has a deranged glare and the evil goatee to prove his superiority in the hierarchy of evil. None can stand before the might of the Greater Demon Zalbard!

With the invasion of canines this season, one might have to ask who let the dogs out. But Sir Leopold did, of course. This villainous canine is the mastermind behind it all! However, he’s not one to lead from the rear, oh no. The most dangerous and important part of his vile scheme, the conquest of Heavy, falls to the alpha dog himself. And step one is the removal of a certain Greater Devil. Zalbard has exactly two claims to fame in a fight - high speed and good lightning magic, and while they’re certainly adequate against most, Leopold isn't like the rest of Heavy's rabble. And, just as famous as the Devil’s speed and lightning, is his frailty, which Leopold will capitalize on with his punishing criticals. It should only take one or two Desperate Attacks to turn Zalbard into a corpse in Leopold’s wake. And the wicked pooch shall move on to bigger and better opponents.

A giant dog, possessed by a great evil.

A random Greater Devil, also controlled by a great evil.

There was only one possible solution.

"Remind me to suggest to never let the Profound Darkness judge a match like this again." Ghaleon said, as he watched Leopold and Zalbard fight it out in a mud pit, their glistening bodies shining in the sun for all to see.

"Ehehehe. Bad memories?" Kefka asked. "...Shut up." Ghaleon replied.

"Well. At least she's enjoying it!" Kefka said, as he watched the Profound Darkness laugh...and laugh...and laugh.

Naturally, there was only one possible out come.

Leopold won easily.

When it comes to getting down and dirty, nothing beats the doggy's style.
