With A fire in his both soul and his palm, Elc had few problems dispatching of his last opponent. He's going to live up to the title of "Godhunter," and no man or woman will stand in his way. Luckily, he’s run into unimpressive opposition so far. And while he thought defeating Selan was a walk in the park, his match against Jowy will be even easier. With his trusty Magic Canceller, Elc can halve all of the magic Jowy's Black Sword Rune can throw - assuming, of course, that he hunter doesn’t just throw up Invincible and smite Jowy with spells. Well, maybe the semifinals won’t be such a pushover. |

Jowy's path this season seems to take him from swordmaster to swordmaster, with nary a difficult battle in sight. Lyndis was easily dispatched by Hungry Friend, and Elc won't be much different. His only chance to win this battle is to act first and cast Invincible to nullify the overwhelming power of the Black Sword Rune, and with Jowy's speed, that's a dicey prospect. Even against the Magic Canceller, Hungry Friend will cause a good deal of pain for this pyromaniac runt, and he can only keep Invincible going for so long. Once he runs out of MP and the spell drops, it's all over but the screaming. |
