As always, the elusive ninja is after one thing and one thing only; this time, however, she's seeking victory instead of prey. Her opponent in her Heavy debut is a powerful Wyndian and white mage, capable of not only healing away any damage Ayame causes but also crippling her with accurate status magic. Therefore, a simple plan is in order: a speedy blitz that will leave Nina defeated and broken before she can cast a spell. This means she'll have to hit as fast and as hard as she can; fortunately, that's not something the ninja woman is unfamiliar with.

A Middle champion in her sole appearance sixteen seasons ago, the original Nina Wyndia started Breath of Fire's long history of DL prominence. Now upgraded, she plans to take the division by storm with her usual blend of healing and effect magic. Her first test is another former Middle, the ninja Ayame, and as such not much of a test at all. Ayame is easy prey to Nina's paralysing Hold and slowing/blinding Idle spells, giving Nina all the time she needs to boost all her stats, heal away her opponent's pathetic attacks, and win the way she wins best: slowly, painfully, and decisively.

They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, right? Well, that's true in the DL too!
Well, Ayame might not think so, having lost to Nina2 previously, and getting similarly defeated by Nina1 this week. Then again, when has a 'ninja' known anything?
Ayame: 18
Nina Wyndia: 36

Ayame will beat Nina. Why? Ninjas beat down little girls like that all the time. I don't think wings will save that Nina girl, not at all.
