Finally, the little android that could proves the meat behind her nickname! And there's only one obstacle remaining between Demi and a much overdue Heavy belt: an obnoxious elemental fiend. However, Demi ain't scared! With her fire-resistant frame, efficient self-repair systems and resilient build, which conveniently immunes the fiend's paralysis, Demi can easily handle Kary's one-dimensional (if effective) tactics. And, with a few Phononmezers, Demi will fell Kary just in time for the announcer to call up her victorious name. It's about time Demi followed in Wren's steps and claimed a Heavy championship for herself!

A status immune robot!? Le gasp, Kary's infamous Hold spell won't be able to win this fight for her! Whatever shall she do!? Might she be forced to rely on nothing but her physical attack? Her incredibly powerful, massive physical attack... Yeah, okay, so that's not actually a problem at all. To be frank, Kary's not slow, she's not fragile, and she hits like the proverbial train. All that combined with the fact that Demi's defensive barrier only helps her magic defense and not her physical adds up to the fire fiend keeping that poor little android heal locked until she just runs out of juice. And then Kary will move in for the kill.

"Man, this is pretty impressive. Never thought a staring contest would get this intense." Yuri remarked glibly, watching the two go at it. "I mean, sure, you expect the robot to win, but Demi does have a built-in cleaning function that simulates blinking! And Kary rarely needs to blink herself - I mean, it helps her eyesight, but her body doesn't do it reflexively, so she can passively wait..."
Edge just looked at Yuri. "And... why do you find this interesting?"
"It's better than watching an incredibly repetitive stallfest that takes eons. And from what we can tell, that's what the result of this fight would have been."
"...so you're having them stare at each other instead."
"This should last minutes instead of hours."
"...eh, fai-And Kary blinks! Demi is the winner!" Edge blurted out as Kary, hissing, fled.

It took them two more weeks to find the glitch in Demi's battle coding.
