Mightiest of the Four Fiends, the elemental lord of fire enters the Arena with a glare that shall turn all to ash. After all, how could a mere girl from Besaid with cute little summoning tricks contend with superpowered flame incantations that could turn this very world into a cinder? Yuna will attempt to call one of her pathetic Aeon friends to help her, but no matter; a torrent of crushing fire will smite her before she could even act. Paltry fire protection will not stop Rubicant as he turns Godlike into a toasty haven for himself - and a blazing inferno for everyone else.

It's fitting that an Aeon upgraded to Godlike the same season the young mistress of their kind returs to the Arena. Of course, the saviour of Spira would easily defeat her first opponent even without a single use of her summoning arts: NulBlaze, Shell, and her Fire-nulling accessories are all enough to seal a victory over Rubicant. Summoning Ifrit would also work, though it would be fun to see the Summoner build up an Overdrive and unleash a quadra-powered Diamond Dust on her helpless foe. All paths lead to victory for Yuna this week, and her choice is the only thing in doubt.

Yuna steps into the arena not receiving the most polite of remarks... apparently who abuse of powerful Aeons has made her unpopular with the fans. Being a High Summoner means that Yuna must keep the people happy and keep herself liked... the only solution is to beat her opponent without using Aeons.
As soon as Yuna finds out that she is facing a one trick pony that she is faster than she laughs her ass off and wins easily with fire ward, curaga, and holy.
Rubicant: 18
Yuna: 68

Well, considering Yuna is a Summoner, she can summon Bahamut, King of Dragons, to help her kick Rubicant's Fiend-like ASS!
