Season 35, Week 3
Avalon
(Legaia: Duel Saga)

After defeating one human hero, the godly Mystic Avalon has run straight into another. Of course, he has no problem with this, for he’d like nothing better in life than to destroy all the hateful humans, and as such, Avalon will surely pull out all the stops to take down Rolf. While Avalon may not be able to go first, his ability to halve all damage will halt even Megid's damage, after which Avalon can bombard the hero with his own powerful damage or a deadly accurate stone spell. Avalon’s already proved that no human can match him, so he should have little trouble with this one.

Yet another cliched evil guy appears before our classic hero of yore. The heroes can never get a break, can they? A few simple Megids and this Avalon chap will be put in its place in the DL hospital, and all he has to do is make sure he himself doesn't die in the proccess. Is there any rest for the famed Blue Haired Hero of Algol? Of course not. At least, not until a few weeks from now when he is holding the trophy. But for now, focusing on the spikey haired, unintelligbly angry freak is all that matters, and with the massive power of Megid, it shouldn't matter very long, either.

It was hopeless.

Rolf, battling his best, casting spell after spell, slashing, fighting to his last...he still couldn't scratch Avalon.

There was no way he could have won!

"Morte. You make a lousy reporter." Chisato noted, staring. "Avalon, the dueller, is not an island."

"...You mean Rolf lost to a makeup company?" Morte asked.

"Stop trying to chase girls instead of going to the match, and then half-assedly use search engines to write your reports." Chisato said, cracking her knuckles threateningly.

"...fine, Chief." Morte sighed.
