Season 11, Week 3
Evans
(Breath of Fire II)

Deathevans is already looking forward to his semifinals appearance. All that is standing between the demonspawn of destruction and a second win is a brutal slugfest with the Horns of Valmar. With his normally effective Death out of the question, Deathevan now relies on a simple numbers advantage. His durability utterly outstrips Melfice's, more than making up for slightly inferior damage and speed. With "Disappear!" to negate any of Melfice's stat buffers and surprisingly decent speed despite final-boss bulk, it'll be physical after physical until Deathevans drops down to half health, whereupon his Bonelzr will finish off his adversary.

Most people would be a little worried going into battle with an eldritch horror, but Melfice has more than some experience working with dark gods. Besides, why fear an enemy with such inferior offense? Without instant death to fall back on, Deathevans is both outsped and outgunned by the Horns of Valmar. Moreover, his HP-draining caps at a meager sixty damage, and the accompanying MP loss does nothing to stop a Wailing Soul onslaught. Deathevans has Dispel to counter Melfice's stat-buffers, so right from the start it'll be an all-out slugfest. It will be a long one, given the impressive endurance of Myria's offspring, but it's also one Melfice is rightfully confident of winning.

Evans may be a demon, but he'll still Wail when he's Soul Slashed. Go, guy with the better demon horn than Evans!
