One divine being down, three more to go. The terror of Asgard has taken down the reigning champion, and now readies himself for a weaker opponent. Ryu may be a previous champion, but then again, so was Myria. And while Myria could take a shot of the powerful Indiscriminate, Ryu cannot. This should be a simple fight: a casting of Indiscriminate will tear apart even the mighty dragons Ryu commands, reducing him to nothing in mere seconds. And there's little he can do about it: his feared breaths and dreaded Bonebreak will barely scratch the resilient Loki, and his healing magics will only serve to stall the inevitable from happening. Soon, the master trickster will move on to the semi-finals and, after that, his first championship.

In a way, Ryu should be grateful to Loki. Striking down the young dragon's greatest foe and threat was a great service to him. For that, Ryu wil grant the Trickster God a quick defeat, sparing him the long drawn out humilation that many a foe of Ryu's has been hapless against. Going first and dropping into his mighty True Kaiser form gives Ryu the massive HP and elemental resistances needed to make Loki's offense a joke, not to mention an array of defense ignoring attacks that will easily shred Loki before he can so much as let loose an insane cackle. With Bonebreak to seal the deal in a stylish fashion, Ryu will move on and prepare for a possible second Godlike title and perhaps even a showdown with another Breath of Fire villain...
