They say the seeweed seems always greener in someone else's lake...

Well, that's certainly what Irenes' sister thought when she jumped out from under the sea and into a sea farer's heart. Thankfully, Irenes and the demi-humans were a lot more understanding than Triton was when Ariel did the same, even seeing it as a way to bridge their gap with the human race.

At least, until said sea farer turned out to be a bit of a ass when his lady love died, and made the demi-humans his work slaves. Now, poor Irenes has the thankless job of trying to get the ass to keep his old promise of uniting humans and demi-humans. This looked to be hopeless until she met a motley crew with the ability to go to a dimension where the ass is less of an ass and more of a bad ass.

But all that's just water under the bridge, and thanks to the DL not having any prejudices against species diversity, Irenes can now enjoy the simple things, like swimming, walking around with fins in a reality-defying way, and breaking the ear drums of her opponents in the arena with her Siren Song. Yup, life couldn't be better.
