Personally I'd prefer the Snow, even if it's level 1.

Finished making my Blood Sword, so I'm done with Collosseum now.  Got the 30k Trust Moogle from current event, 70k one is going to be a close finish but I think I can make it.

Alright, so.  Winged Saint made, Morale Talisman bought, all the Rare Summon Tickets bought, 30K Trust Moogle bought, and only 15K left to go for the other Moogle.  After that, just an easy matter of grinding up the gears for all the other lesser items, like Magic Key materials, Elixirs, and Phoenix Downs.

Notable draws since I lost my computer: Terra, 4* Cecil (which I'm going to wait to awaken until I've gotten enough Burst Pots to level his LB as high as it can go), 2x Hope, Celes, 3x Garland, and Charlotte.

EDIT: And the second-to-last day...

"Time to do the daily draw, let's see what I get." *Rainbow Crystal* "This has to be a Troll crystal, there's no way I'm this lucky." *Lightning* "Well okay then!"

Got the second trust moogle from event, barely.  Sucks to waste a day of Enchanted Maze but oh well.  At least the megacites were good.  Maxed out Diabolos and Shiva, and evolved Carbuncle.

Wow Enchanted Maze is dropping 6 star mats at crazy rates.  It was already the best event last time it ran, now even moreso.

Also I've gotten three Edge and a Rosa from daily pulls in the last week.  Secret FF4 banner is go.

EDIT:  Today's daily pull = Zidane.  Well that's the next thing my trust moogles are going towards.

Got Nocto-kun, 10/10 husbando pull five-ever~!

Now my biggest dilemma is which husbando to use: Snow, Bartz, or Noctis.

Too bad it's not Gladio but yay FFXV hype train!

Nice, he's pretty good.  Use the Flask that inflicts Stop in Arena, there's no defense against that.

So Cerius and Medius have been announced to get GL-unique 6* forms.  I have both, and a 6* form might be enough for me to consider subbing in Cerius as need be for specific elemental resistance.  Is Cerius's LB worth leveling up before I rank him up?

I'm going to say no, it's rare that you need protection from more than one element, much less two.  Her dualcast Bar-x spells should suffice for elemental resistance.

I took Medius up to level 80, haven't pulled Cerius yet.  Hopefully I get one, she's a nice niche unit for certain trials.

Well, if nothing else, it'd save Tilith the trouble of refreshing Goddess's Protection but after a point...  Yeah.  Alright, boosting her as fast as I can then.  Any thoughts on Medius, by the way?

He's bad in his current form (Draw Attacks on a non-tank character) but hard to say what his 6 star will look like.  Thinking he might get dual wield guns since there's a character like that in Japan already.

EDIT:  https://www.reddit.com/r/FFBraveExvius/comments/5ji8my/gl_1221_maint_quick_peek/

Seems Noel and Cerius are decent, and Medius is just bad.  Really impressed with Santa Roselia though.  Don't think she surpasses Refia but still a very cool unit.

So.  Got Carbuncle and got him from 1/30 to 20/40 in the same day.

Nephew has Noctis.  I want Noctis.  Considering whaling for him, though I do have reasonable mental reservations against.

Still rolling Tilith/Elza/BC Lid/WoL/Maxwell as my A-team, with Refia sitting at 87ish, Vaan warming the bench until his 6* form gets released, and Lightning at 6*58.  Cecil's LB is being babied before I rank him up (Got him as a 4*, so already at a disadvantage, but LB is sitting at 8/15, so.) while CoD and Cerius are getting some consideration as well.  Not really using Greg, but he's at 75% Trust, and I booted Delita out of my leveling party for a while, so there's that - feels like the main thing Delita would be used for is Meditate and Barrage, since Elza exists for my DEF rebuffing needs.

Think my Exdeaths will be next in line for leveling, since I bought Lightning's Thunderfall, so Electric Death Squad in Arenas could be a thing, supported by Elza Lancing people.

EDIT:

Stupid thing I did: I spent $100 on Lapis for this Banner.  Upside, I got the following units of note:

+1 Mercedes
+1 Faris
+4 Ingus
+1 Arc
+1 Rosa
+1 Vanille (Makes me wish I bought her unique rod now)
+5 Charlotte
+1 Ludmille (Yaaay Dualcast)
+1 Amarant
+2 Garnet
+2 Lenna
+2 Hayate
+3 Leo
+1 Gilbert
+1 Golbez
+1 Duane
+2 Vaan
+1 Terra
+1 Cecil
+2 Exdeath
+3 Edgar

And to top it all off...

+1 NOCTIS

Was it a stupid decision?  Of course.  But at least I'm not COMPLETELY regretting my decision right now.

Nice.  I'm going to keep using tickets on this banner and try to get Mercedes, then pull on Christmas banner if I get her.

Good news:  Got another Zidane.

Bad news:  Got two four-star Marias in two days.  What the fuck game.

I'm also doing story missions for lapis because I am perilously low after blowing everything on FF5 banner.

Now here's a pointed question: how much does Dual Wield benefit Noctis?  Depending on what his skillset benefits from the most, I may have to choose between just Genji Armlet Noctis + Doublehand Elza w/Bracers farmed up vs. Genji Armlet Elza + some kind of Support build for Noctis.  Lightning's her own thing, so Hero Rings for her.

Let me take a moment to point out how much you suck having three good 5 star bases.

Hmm, I think dual wield is better on Noctis because he has aoes.  Elza is just single target damage so for arena Noctis can do more damage.

So raid isn't bad.  Equip Vernard and Chirajiden on your best aoe DD and give them Diabolos for demon killer.  I need to swap out Kefka (no Firaga) and Bartz (everything resists wind) for efficiency because they're not doing much.

I agree, using raid wasn't bad.  Getting my Lightning to L100 made it easier on me, but trying to swap out Tilith for Refia just made my life harder - the Spirit buffing from Tilith seems to be very necessary.

Ice Shield and Ice Armor (have Ice Armor on Luneth) help a lot, and Snowstorm Shield offsets whoever is using Golem.  I usually lose Exdeath and maybe friend unit on first attack, then I get Frostor below half hp and it's easy mode after that.

If you bring a Fullbreaker or a Noctis, you can debuff Frostor's MAG on the first turn, and along with Focus from anyone who has that, you shouldn't have any troubles surviving the first attack with a high-level team.

Pulled a 4* Santa Rosita going through the New Year rare summon ticket rewards today so I'm swimming in healers (Tilith, Rosa, Santa Rosita) :)~

With Gilgamesh, my new awakened to 4* Shantotto, and those healer options, CT baits quota is more or less fulfilled. Think I'll start trying to hoard and hold onto tickets and stones for a while now~

Ariana Grande is going to be a character in FFBE.  Sadly I am not making this up.

Had time to do 2-headed dragon trial today.  Beat it on first try, although I was lucky to find a friend Elza who was set up well for it.  Bartz, Cecil, WoL, Luneth, Refia + Elza.  Since it's all autoattacks, Cecil LB was constantly charged so I could keep it going when I needed it.  Dragon did eat WoL twice but since Refia wasn't too busy she could revive him.

Got Genji Glove the other day.

Right now, Elza is rocking it with Twin Lance and Flame Lance.  Not sure what else she should run with it, but Genji Glove's moving to Noctis once he's L100 and Elza downgrades to her Support-Debuff Roll.

EDIT:

Had a look at the evaluations of the new banner characters.  If I don't miss my guess...

Dark Fina is basically Exdeath+ with a lot of main problems fixed, but comes with her own problems of being a 5* base.  Her TMR is absolutely amazing for Mages, so she becomes a desirable pull.
Luka is Tilith-, just getting her 6* form initially instead of later.  Her TMR really requires a weird niche of things to be up to be considered *good* over just average, or bad compared to just Refia's TMR.
Elle is just...  Bad, outside of his TMR, which is alright for Tanks.

That sound about right?

Dark Fina is the best black mage, with the caveat that mages are still worse than physical attackers.  Other two are serviceable but not remarkable.
