On the other hand, pretty much the only Disgaea evade worth noting happens on ninjas, or with -massive- level differences. (I bet Vulcanus misses Level 1000 PCs with Divine Anger, too.) So yeah, if you don't get past ninjas, you ain't ITE to me. The XF parallel doesn't hold since XF has a functional defence stat. (If XF defence only took 1-3 points off of damage then I probably wouldn't view Sacrifice as ITD due to what Pyro said!)

This is the Xenogears situation all over again; just because some moves which make up a shitty portion of the game's damage curve does not mean they are what you used to judge evade. You judge it based on things which do actual damage.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

How accurate is Eiko's Mini again? If I recall correctly Eiko is a tab on the slow side while Lightning is ded average pseudo ARPG style FFXIII flavoured but with a bit of edge due to fast attacking animations. Lightning has turn priority and apparently 2HKOs so Eiko really needs Mini to land first go when her turn comes up. If she heals to full instead (not sure whether Eiko has this ability or not now) Lightning probably just heal locks her and never gives her breathing space to try anything else. Unless Protect/Shell/Vanish would prevent Lightning finishing the 2HKO on her second turn. Or if Eiko can equipment/stat boost for speed =/ With starting TPs or stalling for Odin Light could summon and go for Zantetzuken as a finisher though (granted Eiko's HP has to be low for that)~

The problem with Protect is that it doesn't last very long, and worse, Lightning has competent backup magical damage in Ruin.  (In fact, I'd give her Ruin better damage than the stat topic.  The transition from endgame to aftergame buffs physicals with their better mults more than magic, I think; physicals only had a slight edge at endgame for me, and Tal's topic is ubered characters.)  It probably knocks Lightning to a 3HKO, but costs a turn to set up, so it doesn't actually help.

Because I am so sure my votes are desired...

Godlike

Katrina Liane Elesius (Wild ARMs XF) v Lady (Shadow Hearts: From the New World) - Lady.  I'd have to check her hit numbers again, but she is like one of the only ones who can break Fear Clymsian's combo shield, so...
Zophar (Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete) v Tetri (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - Zophar.
Ashera (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn) Jade (Breath of Fire) - Ashera.
Indalecio (Star Ocean: The Second Story) v Sora (Kingdom Hearts Series) - Indalecio.

Ted (Suikoden IV) v Claude C. Kenni (Star Ocean: The Second Story) - Ted.  Plot ID power, Suikoden 1 form.
Seymour (Final Fantasy X) v Souji Seta (Persona 4) - Soji.  Very close, since Soji can't void water, but Debilitate/Rakukaja should keep him alive in those phases.
Tir McDohl (Suikoden Series) v Rolf Landale (Phantasy Star II) - Could Rolf get ID protection in MF6?  If he can, then he wins, and that is where my vote would be cast for unless that is not the case in which case it would be for his opposite number in this combat.
Jenna Angel (Digital Devil Saga) v Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia) -  - Jenna.

Heavy

Rei (Breath of Fire III) v Ephraim (Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones) - Ephraim.  Gets a large bio-ball, attack-moves.
Hugo (Suikoden III) v Isaac (Gold Sun) - Isaac.
Shadow Teddie (Person 4) v Wugui (Shadow Hearts) - Shadow Teddie.
Vulcanus (Disgaea: Hour of Darkness) v Arnaud (Wild ARMs 4) - Vulcanus.

Marcello (Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of Cursed King) v Adelbert Steiner (Final Fantasy IX) - Marcello.
Lloyd (Legend of Dragoon) v Zerase (Suikoden V) - Batman.
Edgar (Final Fantasy VI) v Hect (Grandia III) - Hect
Harken (Wild ARMs) v Fogel (Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen) - Harken

Middle

Florina (Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword) v Stocke (Radiant Historia) - Close enough to the end of Radiant Historia to vote. Stocke wins - Florina can't break defense..
Shante (Arc the Lad II) v Lich (Final Fantasy) - Shante.  Lich is status vulnerable
Prier (La Pucelle: Tactics) v Tear Grants (Tales of the Abyss) - Prier.  Yay for optional boss forms
Estellise Sidos Heurassein (Tales of Vesperia) v Sceptile (Pokémon) - Estellise.

Raine Sage (Tales of Symphonia) v Caina (Wild ARMs 2) - Caina
Lise (Seiken Densetsu 3) v Graham Cray (Suikoden IV) - Graham Cray
Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII) v Eiko Carol (Final Fantasy IX) - Eiko
Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII) v Katt (Breath of Fire II) - Tifa

Light

Nana (Grandia) v Big Joe (Xenogears) - BIG JOE.
Snowe (Suikoden IV) v Raja (Phantasy Star IV) - Snowe.
Zhuzhen Liu (Shadow Hearts) v Sunset (Live a Live) - Zhuzhen
Mao (Shadow Hearts: From the New World) v Rude (Final Fantasy VII) - Rude

Kid (Chrono Cross) v Rozalin (Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories) - Rozalin.  Yay boss forms.
Akaghi (Suikoden IV) v Labyrinthia Wordsworth (Wild ARMs XF) - Akaghi
Judith (Tales of Vesperia) v Mullen (Grandia) - Mullen
Basculin (Pokémon) v Meena Mahabala (Dragon Quest IV) - WHO THE FUCK IS MEENA MAHABALA!?  Sounds cuter, at least.  Meena.
[11:53] <+Meeple_Gorath> me reading, that's a good one

[19:26] * +Terra_Condor looks up. Star Wars Football, what?
[19:27] <+Terra_Condor> Han Kicks First?

[19:27] <%Grefter-game> Touchdown and Alderaan explodes in the victory

Still time to vote?

Also, Disgaea evade works perfectly fine if you twink for it. Load up any non-Ninja class with SPD affinity (like Archers/Thieves) with a lot of shoes and watch them actually evade things! And -not- your own healing spells!
