Xorn (Grandia III) vs Alternis Dim (Bravely Default): Tough call. Xorn might be able to blitz out here, I'm not really sure. Probably will need to sit down with their exact damage figures; I'll do that later. For now, tentative Xorn vote.

Heavy

Lulu (Final Fantasy X) vs Levin Brenton (Wild ARMs XF): Okay, there's the level of evade Levin really can't handle. He may instant double but even if he does he goes 0/2 on Cancel Strikes on average.
Cthulhu (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Arnaud G. Vasquez (Wild ARMs 4): There's the level of evade someone can't handle part 2.

Middle

Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) vs White Mage (Final Fantasy V): WM can block Silence at a hit to defences which won't matter much when he puts up Shell.
Venusaur (Pokémon) vs Pepperoni (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy): Venusaur (EDIT: doesn't) halves earth so he wins loses.

Light

Cinnamon (Mega Man X: Command Mission) vs Logg (Suikoden V): I would think so? Logg can heal away Hyper Mode and put Cinnamon down after at worst.

Xorn (Grandia III) vs Alternis Dim (Bravely Default) - Yeah probably.  Xorn might not consistantly triple-turn here but he certainly should have a 5-2 turnsplit here and has the level of damage control needed.

Heavy

Cthulhu (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Arnaud G. Vasquez (Wild ARMs 4)

Middle

Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) vs White Mage (Final Fantasy V) - Sure.
Venusaur (Pokémon) vs Pepperoni (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - Grass/Poison is neutral to ground, actually.  That said Venusaur should still manage it under some averages, just not the ones I use.

Light

Jeff (Earthbound) vs Rinoa Heartlilly (Final Fantasy VIII) - 2HKOs first.
Cinnamon (Mega Man X: Command Mission) vs Logg (Suikoden V) - Played enough MMXCX to be confident about this

Xorn (Grandia III) vs Alternis Dim (Bravely Default)- Triple Dimension Gate would get through half of Alternis' HP, and if both are forced to use moves (since fatal 50% move unlocks), Xorn is the one who has non attacks...I guess. If Xorn's speed plays out exactly as the numbers look, feels like he has this.
Flame Fang (Lunar 2: Eternal Blue) vs Piastol (Skies of Arcadia)- Piastol has about 40% more damage, Flame Fang doesn't have 40% more Pdur (and which one goes first is up for debate certainly!)

Heavy

Lulu (Final Fantasy X) vs Levin Brenton (Wild ARMs XF)

Middle

Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) vs White Mage (Final Fantasy V)
Venusaur (Pokémon) vs Pepperoni (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy)- Takes 2 hits, can 2HKO

Light

Jeff (Earthbound) vs Rinoa Heartlilly (Final Fantasy VIII)
Cinnamon (Mega Man X: Command Mission) vs Logg (Suikoden V)- Cinnamon doesn't like fellow healers

Yeah, not down for Xorn triples speed hype, and even if he does sometimes rip a triple, I'm not sure I'm up for bosses able to perfectly chip & set up favorable turn combinations hype.

Venusaur (Pokémon) vs Pepperoni (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - 2HKOs first is my kneejerk.

Light

Jeff (Earthbound) vs Rinoa Heartlilly (Final Fantasy VIII) - Rinoa goes first and 2HKOs. So Jeff has to OHKO or bust. Nope.
Cinnamon (Mega Man X: Command Mission) vs Logg (Suikoden V) - See Dhyer. Cinnamon really struggles to put out damage.

Xorn (Grandia III) vs Alternis Dim (Bravely Default) - I'm pretty sure Xorn gets at least five turns before Alternis gets two and Xorn -also- has non-damaging moves to mix into his chipping, while Alternis cannot chip at all until his fatal range. He certainly wins if he gets a turn below 50% HP, but I have no faith in Alternis' ability to get there against Xorn.

Lulu (Final Fantasy X) vs Levin Brenton (Wild ARMs XF) - dat evade.
Cthulhu (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Arnaud G. Vasquez (Wild ARMs 4) - :arnaud:. The finals should be INTERESTING.

Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) vs White Mage (Final Fantasy V) - Oh dear.
Venusaur (Pokémon) vs Pepperoni (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - I'm honestly not 100% sure. Pepperoni might miss the 2HKO when equipping for sleep resist, but MK2's accessory options definitely aren't as comprehensive and powerful for stat boosting as MK1's were. I'll give him the benefit of doubt here, buuuut.

Jeff (Earthbound) vs Rinoa Heartilly (Final Fantasy VIII) - Rinoa continues her rampage through a surprisingly competent Light season.
Cinnamon (Mega Man X: Command Mission) vs Logg (Suikoden V) - Yeah, Cinnamon's kinda out of her depth against a healer above Raja calibur.

Oh whoops, I totally forgot about Venusaur being poison.

I think its best bet is to Growl turn 1 now, which should reduce Pep to a 3HKO, and hope to lap him. And... never mind Pepperoni doesn't need to use super-laggy stuff to 3HKO, so that's not going to work. Yep, vote changed.

Going to toss a tentative vote Xorn's way, he's got ridiculous damage control and now that I think about it there's a possibility Alternis can't use Minus Strike the turn he's lowered below half HP, which would be fatal here.

Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) vs White Mage (Final Fantasy V)  White Mage having Shell (and Jess being all magic damage) saves me the trouble of determining if Jess' Finishing Burst could win things for her.  I do see the matchup stretching out long enough for Burst Mode to activate so a Finishing Burst may charge up with all the heal stalling both sides have.
