I love Dark Souls more than any other game and will replay it over and over.
Bastion and Outland were strong contenders but yeah. Ultimately a 8 hours perfect game is worse than a 60 hours perfect game.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Alpha Squad, Pokemon Black, From Dust, Radiant Historia and Cthulhu were all fun but nothing outstanding.
The only disappointing game I've played this year is LaserCat, which was a bit like VVVVVV or Knytt but with boring level design.

I'm very interested in getting Deus Ex, Witcher 2, Zelda and Xenoblade especially but I know I'm not going to like them as much as Dark Souls.
Strong year, but I always feel like games keep getting better anyway.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Deus Ex.  That was fairly solid also.
