All of the local hotels are listed along with prices.

Oh yeah, before I book: supposedly the Super 8 has a 10% discount if you have AAA (and I have AAA). Ciato's group: do you want me to book your room as well and then you pay me back?

The good news: it's booked.
The bad news: I'm too honest and nice, as per usual; she asked me how many people in each room, and I told her. For three people after AAA discount it's $80. For four it's $90. If you want me to call and cancel the four-person room so that you can book for two people I'll do so (it would save me some hassle of faxing an authorization form so that you guys can check in without me there, anyhow).

Completely unrelated, but this is a good reason why it's better to think in terms of what money can buy instead of how much money. 10 bucks extra? Whatever, it's just ten bucks.

Not if I'm still in the air when you want to check in (where my cell phone must be turned off) or underground on the BART (where my cell phone won't get reception). I'm happy to fax the needed form anyhow; not a big deal.

Zenny is right about the theoretical economics principle, but there is another factor to consider. When I was min-maxing my character, I didn't put any stats into "lying to hotels and insurance companies." If they are confident that their stat is higher, and they wish to exhaust this ability, then their way forward is clear. However, if they also haven't invested skills in this trait, then they might end up paying more, as they don't have my attribute investment in AAA membership.

Oh, one thing I forgot to ask.
Does the house have beds?? If yes, I just need to bring a blanket for the night. Trying to reduce luggage and I can save some room in not bringing a sleeping bag.

The house has a few beds (6-8 I think). Don't worry about a sleeping bag in case others take the beds, though, we have 3 sleeping bags we're brining over for people to use.

Ok, just checking up on this, since there wasn't really word beforehand.

Bowling. Has this been looked into at all? Daywise? Locationwise? I know that someone said there was a bowling alley near the house, has anyone called to see when league-play is so we don't accidentally run into a clusterfuck? It seemed like this was being so assumed that no one really laid out the details (nothing on the planners of course, just covering bases in case this wasn't already taken care of).

Looking at the websites, if you're going on Saturday you shouldn't run into a League if you go late enough, like 1 or later since the Leagues att start at 9:30. And it looks like the League people start showing up on Sunday at 5:30p so earlier would be best then.
