The rivers are pleasant and easily sailed today, though pretty much everyone on board is uneasy with the presence of the two fae. Still, they are cooperative and remain out of the way (or in a room somewhere if that is preferred).

Yijun He guides you down a few narrow waterways to get to Wu's shrine. They are difficult to navigate, but between the skill of your boatsmen and her familiarity with these waterways, it is done. A light drizzle has begun to fall by the time you reach the shrine in the late afternoon. It appears much as the one belonging to Si did, though the area here appears to have been the sight of a recent battle, with the reeds and grass trampled down and the shrine's stairs and pillars bearing deep gouges. Also unlike Si's shrine, this one is empty.

X is a weaker game on the whole, (particularly in the video department, what with them not being fully scripted out things) but hey. The creatures offer annoyed glances between each other, suspicious and possibly putting two and two together. But they make no move, like good little captives.

Den bows deeply again. "As a child of the Unconquered Sun you don't need to be fearing me, Tetsuzuru Hakuhi. I, for one, welcome your return. Though I will warn you, Nine Rivers is more dangerous than I was lead to believe. Four of us came, one remains." He looks regretfully at the pair. "I hope your friend has a way with words, then. We'll be carrying a pair of venomous snakes in our arms if we bring them."

"But fortune, nevertheless." She hesitates. "I... can accompany you to the city and introduce you to a few people I know who remained last I knew, but I am no hero, nor do I wish to spend the rest of my life as a soulless husk or a chickadee."

"I hear the capital is a place fully foreign to us now, where strange beasts like those here walk freely. And I also hear those taken there don't come back, or they come back changed. The folks mill a little uncomfortably, but, eventually, with a little extra coaxing from Patr, an older woman steps forward, her black hair kept in a tight bun. "I can do so," she says with imperfect Forest Tongue. It doesn't take a skill check to see she's nervous as hell.

The Fair Folk, having made their oaths, stand  and regroup if allowed, moving a bit aside, offering annoyed glances Akeha's way.

BlazBlue Central Fiction: Finished all normal challenges except those belonging to the unlockable character, on account of not yet unlocking him.

Litchi 10 and Rachel 10 were the worst normal challenges by a pretty large margin.

Doing a bit of work on Hard challenges now.

On repetition, it sighs. "Truly, an unequitable deal, no Arnanrhod? But I suppose we are left with little choice. It is the place of the invading Sun Children to make the rules. You terms are heard and agreed to. We shall obey them. And with this third promise, it is done."

The other one repeats the oath.

In the meanwhile, Patr and Yozo have managed to corral at least a large portion of the townspeople and reduce them to a minor panic.

Out of the corner of your eye you can catch an older man creeping around the trees, watching the scene unfold. He seems quite interested in the scene.

BlazBlue Central Fiction: Act 1 of story mode complete. I miss the English cast. =(

Also completed every Normal Challenge except Litchi 10, which I'm still trying to grind out. Just can't quite manage the D 6C 421[C] linking correctly.
