Depends on the shot, I guess. I feel like I've been able to find one sort of higher-res CGI version of him, but no version of it that's large enough.

Incidentally, when you pick the bald black male skin for your character, it makes every interaction between you and Jolee awesome because it ends up just being some father and son bickering and pretending not to know each other.

Well, the first KotOR wasn't exactly swimming in unique characters. There's HK-47 and there's Jolee Bindo, who is a pretty new type of Jedi.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Rob here. Jolee struck me as a pretty new treatment of something that had always been otherwise completely cut-and-dry and pretty damned boring. Plus, he's the only non-evil character who isn't tiresome and annoying as shit. If you're going to slap the Label of Mediocrity on a Jedi in KotOR... well, I don't even know how I'd choose between Juhani and Bastila. They can both go to hell.

I could rant about Star Wars canon stuff with the regards to the meaning of the Force, but that would be incredibly nerdy and is all EU stuff (and honestly the most disappointing part of EU) but what it comes down to was that there is no place for neutrality in the force and it was editorially mandated by Lucas himself.

Ah, that makes more sense. I actually felt like his neutrality was a boon, though: he could both heal my peeps and lightning bitches with no less efficacy than I desired. Not that any of that really mattered, Scoundrel/Guardians with Master Speed and that super crit-rate feat are godslayers and the game is stupidly easy.

Don't get me wrong. For all that KotOR 2 is great in its morality plays it does do them straight to the Star Wars canon. It DOES help you sympathise with some of the Dark Side types though.
New Jedi Order stuff was pretty much shaping up to bring about a whole new philosophy of the force to the fore (I think Jolee even references it by name at one point, it is an old philosophy in universe) but it ultimately leads to Anakin(?) Skywalker pulling a Vader and not realising it. We all now know that pulling a Vader post Reveng of the Sith is pretty fucking lame.

Anakin Solo just dies at one point actually. Jacen Solo goes on to pull a total Vader in the next series, Legacy of the Force. Granted, I never read the NJO stuff so I dunno how big Anakin's whole "the dark side is all, like, in your MIND, man" philosophy was, just that ultimately he died and the universe as a whole didn't hold on to the idea for long.
Edit: Personally, I really like Jolee. I think it's for much the same reason I watch the Daily Show; there's just something spiritually soothing about seeing someone look at something very stupid (in this case, the whole "Jedi mustn't love!!!" thing), go to great lengths to illustrate just how stupid it is, and do so in a self-depreciating and shameless manner.

I think he means the Young Jedi Knights series, not Jedi Academy. I think I read like just the first book of that, it's... formulaic but I can see having some sentiment for the characters there. The big difference really is that they aren't super-powered toddlers doing implausible things that Luke Skywalker, Bestest Jedi Ever can't even match, but just gifted students. Definite improvement.

Went and saw a taping of The Daily Show last week with my little brother. That was cool. Wrote a paper on group pleading in securities fraud cases. That was...interesting but life-consuming in the bad way. Turned that fucker in at 10:55am Monday, when it was due at 11:00. Well, just overwriting what the move does is what would happen, certainly (you can see this happening with various moves that were tweaked between gen 3 and 4). The question is if you could actually balance Stealth Rock with its current pool of users. Halving it's effect from 12.5% to 6.25% wouldn't really undo the "Ice/Fire/Flying types are hopelessly screwed in the metagame" effect, while going lower would make the thing useless against everything else. Meanwhile, dropping the usage pool back down to the tiny handful that learn it naturally gives it it's original niche (a variation on Spikes that trades stackability for higher bases and hitting weaknesses) while not ignoring what made Spikes function balancedly in the first place; only a handful of things learned it. The issue from what I can see isn't that Stealth Rock is too strong, it's that it's learned by so many things it's utterly ubiquitous in the metagame to the point it makes things dull.

What makes Stealth Rock insulting is that they wanted to make an Anti-Flier Spikes move, ok, fair. But there are a bajillion better ways to go about Instead they made Rock weakness an even bigger issue than it is, and there's so many W4's to Rock running around, and just about all those typings have so many defensive issues already, it comes to a "What were they thinking?" The fact that every single Rock, Ground and Steel can learn it (as well as various miscellaneous things, mostly "Fairy" type Pokemon) while Spikes, which is clearly far inferior, makes it much more insulting, and pretty much kills the point of Spikes, which was a unique ability.
Toxic Spikes, the other Spikes like move added into the metagame, mind you was cool; it was handled appropriately, none game breaking effect, even has a technical downside (If you lay Toxic Spikes, anything that can be hit with Poison is also immune to Sleep and such, so you have to actually think "Do I want I to use this?") Furthermore, multiple uses for maximum benefit gives Rapid Spin a use against them, and stuff like "If a poison type swaps in on Toxic Spikes, the spikes disappear" factor kicks in. It was different, but ran off the same concept, and was balanced.
Stealth Rock? Here are just a few simple ways to de-stupid the attack, note that only ONE of these would have been enough, not saying "APPLY THEM ALL":
-Give it to about the same number of things as Spikes; this gives a few Pokemon a niche, and makes it no longer a GIVEN in a Metagame, just quirky below the belt trick.
-Make it like "Stealth Shock", as in, an Electric-type variant. Serves the same purpose of "Anti-Flier" move, HOWEVER, is far more balanced. First off, Ground types scoff it off entirely (Stealth Rock, the best you get is R4ing it via Lucario or something), as does Volt Absorb and Motor Drive users, so there's a non-negligible amount of COUNTERS to the thing (and if you gave it Toxic Spikes logic, these counters would destroy it entirely.) There are only 2 things that have W4's to it IIRC (Gyarados and Mantine), while still a decent number of things with standard weakness, so its really "Screws over 2 Pokemon" instead of "Screws over about 20 Pokemon, several of which who would be really cool if not for it!" Heck, back to Motor Drive/Volt Absorb thing, Stealth Shock has a noteworthy downside in that while it murders 2 specific Pokemon...it also accidentally makes Electrivire completely evil, and heals things like Jolteon, so you end up second guessing the move just in case they have one of those guys.
-Change Stealth Rock to 6.25% instead of 12.5%; at least now, the W4 doesn't say "lol half HP", for all that the weakness is still annoying
-Alternatively, change the amount of damage being weak does. If they did it like 12.5% normal, 18.75% if weak, 25% if W4, that'd be alright, if still annoying cause W4 to Rocks are already boned as is, at least its not totally screwing them over (50% damage is way too stupid.)
-Or just make it not care about W4's, just say "If weak, take x amount of damage!" rather than "Take damage equal to your Rock resistance multiplier!" IOWs, a Charizard would take the same damage from Stealth Rock as Pidgeot.
-Make it just like Spikes only have a different check for "Hit vs. Not Hit", no clue what that'd be, but at least require multiple turns to spread out, and makes Rapid Spinning the move serve a purpose.
-Have Stealth Rock be a one shot thing only. By which I mean you use Stealth Rock, it works ONLY on the next thing that pops out. This makes the opponent actually think about who they want to swap in next, specifically, but doesn't screw all those W4's to Fliers out, just limits their use temporarily. This actually adds to strategy, not just makes it a mindless "Throw Stealth Rock out, oh look all your Flying/Fire/Ice/Bug types are boned for rest of the fight lul."

I have a better solution, remove net play and actively fight things like Shoddy battle. Add a new tournament rule that if your opponent changes Pokemon 3 times in a row you have to punch them in the face. In the case of children, to prevent promoting violence they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can do the punching for them. The children still have to receive the punches themselves.
Problem solved without even overturning the capatilist system!

More or less agree with Ultradude, yeah. Spikes was made for that purpose, and served its job, though it gave Flying and Levitaters another advantage (not a bad thing mind; Flying was not an overpowered defensive type, and Levitate is only on a handful of things anyway), that's not as bad as "Lets nerf 4 typings outright!" Toxic Spikes didn't have to check for Levitate/Flying type either for that matter; just "can Pokemon be inflicted with Poison?" would have been enough (Steel of course gains ANOTHER defensive purpose, but that's kind of why it existed.)
I understand the logic behind Stealth Rock, but its really very poorly applied. They didn't put much thought into it, feels more like they rushed out the idea, slapped it on a bunch of things it made sense for, and said "Ok, that's cool, lets roll with it!"

Chris describes it more eloquently than the book does.
Basically, the entire time I was reading, all I kept thinking was how fascinating Bella could have been as a character if Meyer had presented her as a terrible person instead of trying to make the reader believe that the person doing all these horrible unredeeming things was supposed to be some kind of heroic figure that we're supposed to root for.
If the book wasn't written as 'Beautiful Romance story between Girl and Vampire' but instead as 'A Girl on the path to Self-Destruction', we'd actually have something here. Meyer has unintentionally created one of the most terrifying glimpses into misogynistic victimization that I've ever read, but she totes it as a dramatic romance (and her fans are even worse about it).
As someone who worked in a bookstore and got to meet fans of many different writers and engage in exciting discourse with them, it depresses me that Meyer is allowed to continue breathing, let alone getting paid to write this drivel and influence a generation of young women.
