Phoebe(Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest) vs Lolithia(Wild ARMs) - Gut.
Latooni Subota(Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation) vs Shiva(Final Fantasy X) - No clue.

Middle:

Cupid(Breath of Fire 5) vs White Mage(Final Fantasy 3) - Gut again.

Latooni Subota(Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation) vs Shiva(Final Fantasy X): SRW is a headache, but gut says Latooni can't put Shiva away. Shiva will take ages to do the same, but sooner or later, Overdrive, doubleturn to get past Alert, Diamond Dust wins it.

Cupid(Breath of Fire 5) vs White Mage(Final Fantasy 3): Cupid is good Heavy.

Aya Brea(Parasite Eve) vs Deathguise(Final Fantasy 9)- Can only kind of vote, but Liberate mocks FF 9 bosses really!
Sarevok(Baldur's Gate) vs PolisPolice(Chrono Cross)- PolisPolice. Well...I respect...something about CC bosses (Durability I guess is the more sensible one), so better damage.

Heavy:

Phoebe(Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest) vs Lolithia(Wild ARMs)- Phoebe. Lolithia struggles to maybe 3HKO, which is bad against someone with decent damage and lots of healing.

Sarevok(Baldur's Gate) vs PolisPolice(Chrono Cross): Kneejerk is that the elemental walling owns CC in general, PP included. I know what Dhyer's referring to, but I don't give that any credit since it doesn't work 1-on-1, only vs. a party.

CC Bosses tend to get about a turn to every PC, so they are either relatively durable and averagish speed (with variance) or horribly fast with notably less durability.

Sarevok(Baldur's Gate) vs PolisPolice(Chrono Cross)- Unsure. Don't see Sarevok walling Holy, but god damn is this a good fight anyway. Leaning Sarevok though.


Middle:

Cupid(Breath of Fire 5) vs White Mage(Final Fantasy 3)- Pending stat topic check.

This is not challenging. Doubleact/Liberate messes up Deathguise badly.

Heavy:

Latooni Subota(Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation) vs Shiva(Final Fantasy X)
Gut says Latooni can't put Shiva down fast enough with Fairlion damage. Once Shiva gets a full OD bar and a doubleturn (both of which she can get pretty easily if she's not trying for damage), it's over.

As I said, that advantage goes away if 2 of your PCs are dead.

I don't care how bosses function against full parties in game when scaling them, since this is a dueling league.
