Posting this in preparation for actual planning. If you're flying in, Dulles International Airport is the best way to go by far. If you're riding a train, you want to aim for Union Station in DC.

Flying: Gatewalker (arrive Wednesday 9:50 pm, depart Sunday 2:50 pm)
Tonfa (Arrive Thursday 8:35 PM IAD, depart Sunday 6:15 pm)
Niu (Arrive Thursday 7:45 AM IAD, depart Sunday 9:15 AM)
Dhyer (Arrive Monday, depart Sunday 4:55 PM via DCA/Reagan International)
Tide (Arrive Thursday 4:03 pm, depart Sunday 3:20 pm)
MC (Arrive Friday 5:06 pm, depart Monday 7:50 am)
Jim & Nick (Arrive Thursday 10:30 am, depart Sunday 11:03 am)
Tal (Arrive Wednesday 9:10 pm, depart Sunday 6:15 am)

Train:

Driving: Meeple (Passengers: Elf and Ciato)

I might end up driving down because I'm close enough (as in, 5 hours away or so), and we need all the drivers we can get at these things, so put me as a tentative driver, but nothing finalized yet.

Hmm.  Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think driving from here would be out of the question.  Anyone else in Michigan possibly interested in carpooling?  Not 100% sure if I want to but just putting it out there for discussion.

Shale, would getting in at 11pm on Wednesday be alright? It's the only way I can avoid an overnight flight, it seems. And if so, could I couch crash Wed night at your place and get to the hotel the next day?

Flying in Wednesday evening is absolutely A-OK. I may have a tough time getting to Dulles before 7 PM or so (I work about an hour from the airport and 6 PM is "leaving early" for this job) but if you're getting in late or willing to wait, go for it.

(And yes, couch crashing is also A-OK.)

Arriving from Dallas-Forth Worth.
Wednesday, July 9th, at 9:50 pm.

I will be leaving on the 13th, at 2:50 pm.

Both arriving and departing is from Dulles(IAD).

Okay, here's my tentative schedule for airport runs.

WEDNESDAY
10:00 pm: Gate & Tal

THURSDAY
8:45 am: Niu (Sorry for the wait but I have to drop off my niece at camp first
11 am: Jim & Nick
4:20 pm: Tide
8:50 pm: Tonfa

FRIDAY
???? MC
The drivers will likely be in DC at this point. Cid may be able to do the run, and if not an airport shuttle may be your best bet. I'll update this when I know for sure.
