Arnaud G. Vasquez (WA4) vs Dias Flac (SO2) - Evadable pure physical damage against Arnaud? Yes, please.

Florina (FE7) vs Ptolomea (WA2) - I think Pto has a borderline 2HKO MT attack, and his attacks ignore evade. Florina is not happy.

Mia Ausa (Lunar:SSSC) vs Karyl Sheeden (ToD) - Um. This match takes YEARS.
Tim Rhymeless (WA2) vs FuSoYa (FF4) - Yeah, that doesn't work.
Lowen (FE7) vs Tony (WA4) - JAVELIN HYPE would work here if Lowen didn't get doubled, and two Javs shouldn't 2HKO Tony. However, Tony should 4HKO Lowen, methinks.

52 Arnaud G. Vasquez (WA4) vs 155 Dias Flac (SO2) - Wow, shit draws for SO2
14 Garan (SH2) vs 63 Groudon (PKMN) Garan has a crazy high 3HKO against average, just a normal 3HKO vs Groudon.  Too bad for him he lacks the Ice/Grass spells he needs to 2HKO Groudon, because with Slash Groudon 3HKOs, and he is going first.  (Ground was considered as "magic" damage in pokemon right?  If not it's 2HKO and a rape.)

Edit: Okay, Ground attacks 2HKO then, so even if you somehow see Garan's water as dealing the 200% damage for some insane reason, he still fails to OHKO and eats a faster 2HKO.

Middle:
Soo... I voted on all 8 in week 10, and now 0.  Cool.

Light:

So how do you decide which moves correspond to SH special moves and which to SH physical attacks? At the very least I'd imagine Normal physicals would not be vulnerable to Mind Assault, and IIRC Groudon's got a decent one... Slash I think? It's a damage cut, but Garan's giving up a turn too, and Groudon still gets a free hit in at the battle's start.

For what it's worth, Earthquake + Slash also kills Garan.  Unless you see one MP bust wiping out ALL of Groudon's moves, then I suppose Earthquake + 2x Struggle wouldn't kill?

Amarant: Auto Life (whatever it was called)
Rouge: Psychic Prison
Amarant: Throw something
Rouge: Implosion (Amarant revives)
Amarant: Throw something. Rouge is a frail punk and dies.

Edit: And this is why Psychic Prison hype fails. But Rouge can still win just by locking Armarant into auto-life with a free move. Moral of the story: Kill Super.

Er? Auto-Life adds a status effect when it is cast. Throwing a magic blocker after that status already exists is useless.

Wasn't Flair like Steiner's swordskills rather than Magic, anyway (read: not silenceable)? IIRC PP doesn't stop Saga Frontier weapon techs and the likes. Though I want no part of Amarant hype, otherwise. <_<

Heavy:

158 Alfina (G3) vs 21 Ultros (FF6): Too damaging. Probably just OHKOs.
102 Nel Zelpher (SO3) vs 154 Rapp (G1): Rapp without ID in Heavy.
213 Flik (Suikos) vs 43 Geshp (SF2): Isn't OHKOed, smashes.
81 Delita Hyral (FFT) vs 41 Decus (SO2): Leaning towards the no equip changing interp these days.
212 Lilka (WA2) vs 22 Jowy Atreides (S2): OHKOs pretty easily, he does it to average and Lilka is frail.
52 Arnaud G. Vasquez (WA4) vs 155 Dias Flac (SO2): Ouch.
163 Jeremy Non (WA4) vs 70 Hildagarde Valentine (SH3): One-rounds. SH durability spread is not impressive.
14 Garan (SH2) vs 63 Groudon (PKMN): Possibly just plain OHKOs. <.<

Middle:

25 Nergal (FE7) vs 194 Eleni (VH): Dunno.
142 Seraphita (XG) vs 108 Levi (S5): Apparently faster, so MP bust and laugh.
53 Thursday (Dis) vs 145 Lise (SD3): Stat ups taxing Thursday's resources some, maybe? I dunno.
69 Florina (FE7) vs 184 Ptolomea (WA2): Finally, a Middle match I'm (reasonably) confident in.

Light:

93 Dahna (G3) vs 166 Irvine Kinneas (FF8): ..... Dancing Cards critical or something.
203 Gengen (S2) vs 84 Frank Goldfinger (SH3): Better.
94 Tim Rhymeless (WA2) vs 38 FuSoYa (FF4): Yeah, Tim lacks decisive moves on turn 1, if he even goes first.
53 Lowen (FE7) vs 27 Tony (WA4): Doubles hurt. And yeah, Lowen's too weak to scare Tony with ranged counters.
128 Bolgan (S2) vs 207 Rafa Galthana (FFT): Ick.
17 Orcha (CC) vs 168 Natan (SH3)
16 Rude (FF7) vs 55 Miranda (G3): So many scrubs who somehow made it to round 2.

Something very low, enough that most FF9 enemies OHKO you after it takes effect. I forget exactly what that figure was, though, presumably either 1 HP or 1/8 max or something like that.

Amarant: Auto Life (whatever it was called)
Rouge: Psychic Prison
Amarant: Throw something
Rouge: Implosion (Amarant revives)
Amarant: Throw something. Rouge is a frail punk and dies.

wouldn't it just go:

Amarant: Auto Life
Rouge: Implosion (Amarant Revives)
Amarant: Auto Life
Rouge: Energy Chain (Amarant Revives again)
Amarant: Auto Life
Rouge: Energy Chain (Amarant Revives again)

etc, etc, until Amarant just runs out of MP? He can't OHKO Rouge, and Rouge only needs the ID to kick in on Implosion the first time.

Yeah, the Auto-Life argument only goes anywhere if it can be used to build towards a limit of some sort... and Amarant's trance is DL-useless. Unless I'm missing something.

Part of it is that Rouge is excruciatingly slow, too.

Though this doesn't really matter because auto-life brought your CT to 0? Hmm. It'd help if I knew elements/costs associated with everything here, but sure. 0 CT means Amarant never doubles and Rouge kills him that way.

It also assumes that 85% ID hits every single time. I might see it hitting the first 6 times, but around turn 7, it's going to get a miss in. Above 67% just means it hits turn 1 to me, not it hits every turn.

On Garan, I could see Slash not getting hit by the Buster...which wouldn't matter too much since I also see Garan around 2 PC HP (and lean more towards seeing his Hail move as Ice, at least partially).

I think Seraphita is above average speed (10 or 11)...but I lost my element notes and accidentally broke my XG disk 2! Note that I could be thinking of a different element.

Uh, I already said that it only needs to hit the first time, Dhyer. After that, Rouge just re-kills him with damage as auto life brings Amarant back at crap for HP.
