In one corner, weighing in at 2 pounds, 3 ounces...

Jogurt!

And in the other corner, weighing in at...something over 300 with the pegasus...

Elincia!

The only stipulation is that Elinicia's skills are locked.  This means she has Stun, Canto, Mercy and Renewal.

So yes, do debate this one.

Staves are not consumed when used as a counterattack, and yes Mercy works with them.  Man, what a shitty skill.

It was probably meant to be a way of leveling up weak units by having Elincia weaken the enemy.

I voted to strangle OK on principle, but can someone explain how Elincia can both fail to kill Jogurt (which requires a total lack of lethal offense) and fail to eventually die?

The skills Elincia is equipped with.

Mercy is an auto-equipped skill on her that prevents her from killing any enemy.  Criticals, offensive skills, etc., cannot kill a target.  The worst they can be is left with 1 HP. 

Renewal is regeneration.  It regenerates 10% of Elincia's HP each turn. 

So neither can ever kill the other.  Ever.

For what its worth, Mercy can NORMALLY be removed (and thus becomes an item...believe its an Elincia only skill anyway, go figure) in game, just as OK noted, we're assuming its a locked skill for this.

Strangle OK is really the best option no matter how you look at it.
