67 Celes Chere (FF6) vs 124 Jack Russell (RS)- Vanish.   Punting of Item hype, as I can feel it coming. Burn for making me cheer for Celes in a Godlike match, Jack.
24 Xorn (G3) vs 97 Lambda Zellweger (WA4)- Comments not required.
128 Bloodbane (VP1) vs 42 Rhapthorne (DQ8)- Better at damage and HP for me. VP1 bosses pretty much suck across the board in Godlike.

Heavy:

193 Lucian (VP1) vs 161 Ziekfried (WA1)- VP1 PC's are just fine though.
191 Luc (Suikos) vs 218 Zalbard (SF2)- One rounds.
25 Ryu (BoF1) vs 45 Jenova (FF7)- Jenova for Light.
86 Worker 8 (FFT) vs 75 Billy Lee Black (XG)- Goddess Call/Eyes does it's thing. Once he's hasted and buffed, he can attack worker with impunity- doubles let him heal and his physical won't do much when he counters, if I even let Worker counter here.

Middle:

65 Vormav Tingel (FFT) vs 68 Sheena Lepant (Suikos)- Magic should do the trick.
182 Sharon (S3) vs 123 Zidane Tribal (FF9)- I think? Mini means Zidane gets IDed, Silence means he gets badly outslugged. Though.. mmm. Maybe Trouble? The problem there is that Sharon can heal.
43 Max (SF1) vs 34 Magdalen Harts (WA1)- Too bad. I'd vote Max in an instant based on what I saw of Mags, and he'll probably lose this here. Ah well.

Light:

127 Tao (SF1) vs 232 Banon (FFT)- Easily outlasts Tao's MP and slowly physicals her to death.
241 Miluda Folles (FFT) vs 69 Mallow (SMRPG)- Think I hold SMRPG to 33 FP per character in the DL now. Don't think Mallow has the resources to win in that case.
233 Chu-Chu (XG) vs 154 Macha (CC)- Chu-Chu fought.. someone really fucking horrible and somehow one in round one of this tournament, I can't remember who nor do I care to. The long and short is that while Macha may be bad, she at least has some scraps of speed and offense to eventually throw at Chu, which results in furball's death. Christ who did Chu-Chu fight round one? *Checks*

24 Xorn (G3) vs 97 Lambda Zellweger (WA4): If the two were closer in raw ability, I'd call Xorn a Lambda spoiler. As is, um.
128 Bloodbane (VP1) vs 42 Rhapthorne (DQ8): Being faster feels like it tilts it pretty cleanly. No way is Rhap surviving two Bloodbane spells, and I can't see him one-rounding either.

Heavy:

193 Lucian (VP1) vs 161 Ziekfried (WA1): Ziekfried is godawful.
191 Luc (Suikos) vs 218 Zalbard (SF2): OHKOs before Luc gets a decent spell off, one-rounds a Shining Wind spam attempt. At worst.
25 Ryu (BoF1) vs 45 Jenova (FF7): Even with her damage halved, Jenova takes this pretty easily. Ryu1 is not good against High Heavy mages, especially not ones who wall magical damage. Revert hype gets owned by Silence, presumably.
86 Worker 8 (FFT) vs 75 Billy Lee Black (XG): No idea why you'd let Worker counter guns, so this is straightforward.

Middle:

65 Vormav Tingel (FFT) vs 68 Sheena Lepant (Suikos): Goes in with no armour or helmet, casts Revenge Earth, mocks.
56 Alhazad (WA1) vs 62 Alma Beoulve (FFT): More raw slugging respect.
182 Sharon (S3) vs 123 Zidane Tribal (FF9): Wind Rune has status healing. WoS, use that to counter Mini/Doom, smite. Trying for Silence/Confuse means he gets outslugged.
43 Max (SF1) vs 34 Magdalen Harts (WA1): No question at all he 2HKOs. Max's 2HKO is on the other hand shaky, and Magdalen might well be faster.

Light:

127 Tao (SF1) vs 232 Banon (FFT): Kills on a double.
241 Miluda Folles (FFT) vs 69 Mallow (SMRPG): Heals and wins easily. Bwahaha needing deep resources to beat an FFT boss, Mallow can heal 16 times at worst.
233 Chu-Chu (XG) vs 154 Macha (CC): CC handles scrubs, pt 1.
114 Quistis Trepe (FF8) vs 153 Leena (CC): pt 2.

Heavy:
25 Ryu (BoF1) vs 45 Jenova (FF7) - Jenova I think I see as less durable than most, Ryu wins this with ease
86 Worker 8 (FFT) vs 75 Billy Lee Black (XG) - Been said, no counters, speed, etc.

Middle:
65 Vormav Tingel (FFT) vs 68 Sheena Lepant (Suikos) -One sided
182 Sharon (S3) vs 123 Zidane Tribal (FF9) - Sharon isn't completely one sided in fighting, sucks for Zidane


Light:
241 Miluda Folles (FFT) vs 69 Mallow (SMRPG) Agreeing with Elf here, don't need much to outlast someone as pathetic as Miluda
233 Chu-Chu (XG) vs 154 Macha (CC) - Ha ha ha ha

241 Miluda Folles (FFT) vs 69 Mallow (SMRPG): Healing was kinda what Mallow did, and his damage isn't Mint-like.

Middle:

Vormav Tingel (FFT) vs Sheena Lepant (Suikos) - OHKOs.
Alhazad (WA1) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT) - Outslugging lulz.
Sharon (S3) vs Zidane Tribal (FF9) - Status healing, yes! Gogogogogo Zidane slugging powers.
Max (SF1) vs Magdalen Harts (WA1) - If nothing else, Magdalen is good at bypassing Max's defenses. Wins without question if he's faster, may well win if he's not anyway.

Miluda Folles (FFT) vs Mallow (SMRPG) - Miluda, handling people with healing. Yeah, right. No. She doesn't even come close to 2HKOing Mallow and he 3HKOs her himself. Results are predictable.

Not with a full combo, which takes a good deal of time. Celes is no speed god but she shouldn't be beaten to the punch here.

How long full combos take in ARPGs tends to be irrelevant since once a combo gets started, the victim is a sitting duck for the whole duration. Speed should be judged based on the combo's opener and nothing else.

This is a specific case I can't judge since RS is another cowpie squirted out of Tri-Ace's ass that I will avoid stepping on, but I'm just making a general statement here.
