That's about what I figured.

I'm sort of interested, but brutal honesty: I don't think I can commit the time to this. I may try if you can't get anyone else since I'd really like to see you get over the hump and get a game done.

Let me ask you something: As a writer, what sort of writer do you want helping you? You talk a lot about the game, but I didn't feel like I got a lot of insight on to the type you wanted, beyond just hoping to get someone.

Conservatives accuse others of their own misdeeds, example #29010
May they all be locked away to never harm another again.

All criminals or all conservatives? Rather important bit of clarity there.

Yeah, I've heard both sides are expecting huge turnouts after the Kavanaugh thing. Should be real interesting to see how it all hashes out. I'm expecting some degree of a Dem wave for a variety of reasons, but the question is how much of a one?

Pretty much. Xenogears is decidedly an artifact of the time, especially things like Grahf and the entire unfinishedness of the game screaming late 90s RPG.

I'm not a fan of the game, but I can look back and mark it as part of my cultural teenage years. It really stands out like that. Saga Frontier, Xenogears and so forth really show where Square was at in late 90s.

Music Tournament / Re: Music Tournament of DOOM 2017- Buy-in List Part 1
« on: August 13, 2017, 03:03:19 AM »
Memories of dust has a dead link. Not voting on it for now on account of that.

Slot 1

1. Legend of Dragoon- If You Still Believe - Somewhere in the broad meh to okay range, but high enough to take first. This was not a good pool.
2. Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War- Zero  - Okay, would've done better without the background guitar. Still a solid enough track for what it is.
3. NieR Automata- A Beautiful Song - Doesn't live up to its name, but it isn't terrible. This isn't a strong pool, which helps it a lot. On the downside, the track is really too busy and has too much going on with it for my tastes. Relax a little, y'know?
4. Professor Layton and the Curious Village - Layton's Theme - Bland and inoffensive.
5. Diablo II= Tristram  - Meh. Just isn't there for me.
6. Final Fantasy X- Otherworld  - A relic of its time, one that shouldn't be unearthed.
7. NieR Automata - Possessed by Disease (machine vocals) - Nope, nope, nope.

Slot 2

1. Lost Dimension- Farewell to a Friend - A shockingly good piece that manages a pretty melancholy. I'm pleasantly surprised.
2. Final Fantasy XIII- Blinded by Light - Best part of FF13 for me. It's only a shame it takes a bit too long to get going. But when it hits, man, it hits.
3. Risk of Rain – Coalescence - Now this one I like. Slow, relaxed and good without forcing it.
4. Doom 2016/Doom 4 - BFG Division - Just isn't very catchy. There's not much more to say about it.
5. Hotline Miami - Miami Disco - Even more meh.
6. Final Fanasy XIII-2 - Crazy Chocobo - I see why FF13 has issues.

Tokyo 7th Sisters- Fire and Rose vs Radiant Historia- Where the Wind and Feathers Return - Meh.
Dark Souls- Moonlight Butterfly/Dark Sun Gwyndolin vs  Super Mario Galaxy- Egg Planet - Meh x2. Not a group that gets much out of this so far.
Vanguard Bandits- Passion vs Chrono Trigger- Zeal Palace - Mismatch.
Front Mission 4- Pride and Honor vs Trails of Cold Steel- The Sounds of Rainfall at the Academy - I'm not a big fan of Front Mission 4, but the OST has a few gems in it. Really, the sound direction works well for the game and feels like it fits, which is enough to take the win here.

Bravely Default- Fighting to the End vs Mega Man 3- Protoman’s Theme - I like a few Bravely Default tracks but this isn't one of them.
Star Control 2- Through the Angles of Space vs Drakengard 3- The Rising Fool ~ Battlefield - Still needs more Mycon.
Haunted Castle- Don’t Wait Until Night vs Undertale- Megalovania - I like Castlevania music in general while I'm not the biggest fan of Undertale.
Phantasy Star II- Under vs 100% Orange Juice- Peat’s Theme - Tough draw, the other track's really good.

Risk of Rain- Tropic of Cancer vs Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- Battle 2 - Doesn't really feel that close, even own nom bias aside. Tropic of Cancer isn't bad, but it's just there, y'know? It feels like it tries a lot of different tricks but fundamentally doesn't do a lot. There's no sense of progression, maybe? I'm not sure, but it's decidedly uninspiring to me. Maybe too modern too? I don't know. I'm trying but I don't have a really coherent reason to why I dislike this track.
Xenosaga Der Wille Zur Macht – Margulis vs Okami- Reset ~Ending Theme~ - Both are solid but the Okami track won me over in the end.  Wasn't expecting that one at all.
Dark Souls 3- Dragonslayer Armor vs Super Metroid- Lower Brinstar - My opinion on Super Metroid music is a microcosm for my opinion of Super Metroid in general. It's good stuff, but at the same time I'm not that into it. I won't deny I played Super Metroid several times back in the day and think it's a good game, 9.5/10 at the minimum. At the same time, I don't have much interest in it and it's consigned to my mental dustheap of disinterest. It just doesn't do it for me on some level that makes it ultimately unsatisfying. All that being said, it massacres yet another Dark Souls track that seems to be trying way too hard to be epic and orchestral.
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne- The Tokyo Conception vs Speed of Doom (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Getaway - Own nom bias. That being said, the SMT track is interesting but has some issues, and ultimately not that much payoff. I think I liked the piano at the beginning more than the rest of it.

Mega Man X- Storm Eagle vs Final Fantasy X- Someday the Dream Will End - Wow, that's a brutal, vicious and abysmal draw for MMX. Storm Eagle's great SNES music but the FFX track is the only one from FFX I remember much of.
Bravely Default- Wicked Flight vs Portal 2- Bombs for Throwing at You - I'll take Wicked Flight over whatever that other track was.
GENETOS- Origin vs Final Fantasy IX- Dark Messenger - Much like Kuja, I never cared for Dark Messenger. A paragraph of commentary on why Kuja's a terrible villain has been omitted, you're welcome.
Persona 5- Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There vs Undertale- Spear of Justice - Pass, I don't want to have to choose one of those to advance. Can Storm Eagle's theme get to advance instead?

Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star- CIEL_N_PROTECTA vs Megamari- Title Theme - Megamari's Megaman 2 remix takes it. Not much to say here.
Pokémon Sun/Moon- League Title Defense vs Rogue Galaxy- The Galaxy Public Corporation - I really like the slow pace of the RG track.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon- Gotta Stay Fly vs  Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru- The Prince’s Adventure - I wasn't a fan of the Prince's Adventure in Rockman Minus Infinity and I don't like it any more here, but it's still way better than the other track.
.hack//GU Vol 1- Gentle Hands (English) vs The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword- Lanayru Desert (Past) - Both are okayish to me, but I think I like the general style of Gentle Hands more. It fits the name of the track, y'know?

Hollow Knight- City of Tears vs Super Mario Galaxy- Bowser Battle Theme - Meh.
Ducktales Remastered- Moon Theme vs Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Battle! Rayquaza - Moon theme is really that good.
Persona 5- Last Surprise vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Mechanical Rhythm - Meh. I've been unimpressed by the Persona 5 music I've seen. Much like the plot bits I've seen of P5, the whole 'kids rebel against corrupt institutions/adults' thing is so tired.
Guilty Gear XX- Awe of She vs  Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE- Event Battle - Tough draw.

10
Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel- EXEC_METEMPSYCHOSIS/. vs Drakengard 3- This Silence is Mine - Three choruses was just too busy for my tastes.
Super Metroid- Theme of Samus Aran, Galactic Warrior vs Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy- God In Fire - Meh.
Kirby’s Dream Land- Bubbly Clouds vs Hellcore 2.0 (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Industry - Own nom plus I legit think it's the better track by far.
No More Heroes 2- Shoegazer Watched the Stars vs Wild ARMs 5- At the Frozen Depths of the Heart - Meh.

Bloodborne- Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower vs Soushu Senshinkan Gakuen Hachimyoujin- YEHOSHUA - Even more meh.
Final Fantasy VI- What? vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Snowy Valak Mountain - What is not good. Not good at all.
Dark Souls- Ornstein and Smough vs Super Mario RPG- The Road is Full of Dangers - Meh.
Final Fantasy VII- Don of the Slums vs Star Control 2: Yehat Theme - Needs more Mycon.

Tournaments / Re: The bestest pizza toppings tourney: Nominations
« on: July 14, 2017, 08:17:49 PM »
- Pepperoni. It's a classic for a reason.
- Beef, onions and green peppers. Works well and tastes good.
- Steak and onions. A close relative to two, a local place does a great steak and onion pizza, ala a cheesesteak.
- Sausage. Good Italian sausage, not chain stuff.

12
Halo Wars- Insignificantia (All Sloppy- No Joe) vs Spyro: Year of the Dragon- Sunny Villa - Mehville.
SaGa Frontier- Melody of Time vs Ori and the Blind Forest- Restoring the Light, Facing the Dark - Melody of Time is a favorite.
Project Diva Future Tone- Step Forward vs Chrono Cross- Gale - Isn't Gale.
Tales of Graces- To a Sea of Dancing Snow vs Lufia and the Fortress of Doom- The Sorrow of Parting - Two of my noms meeting? Tough luck.

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter- Depend on Me vs White Knight Chronicles 2 - The Battlefield Flower (Violin Version) - Had to DQ Depend on Me.
Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea- Scorpio vs Shadow of the Colossus- Revived Power - A really good Atelier track? Awesome.
Project Diva F 2nd- Break It Break It vs  Pokémon X/Y- Snowbelle City - For the start more than anything else, but I like it.
Adventures of Mana- Battle II vs Wild ARMs 3- Fate Breaker - Oh wow, what a blowout. Battle 2 is one of the better tracks from the GB era and is remade wonderfully. It's a track that does well with most remixes and enhancements - my favorite version is actually a midi remix of the original I came across in an unrelated Zelda Classic mod - and delivers. On the other hand, we have Wild Arms 3, which is by and large a big step back from Wild Arms 2's powerful music. It's not as bad as the drop off from Breath of Fire 2 to Breath of Fire 3, but it's an appreciable loss all around.  Fate Breaker tries to me, but it lacks that zip of better WA2 tracks. It doesn't pop at all, it manages comfortable mediocrity rather than sterling success. So this one's no contest at all.

13
Suikogaiden vol. 1: Swordsman of Harmonia- Currents vs Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea- Rusty Sky (Opening Ver.) - Not a fan of either, but Currents is less meh.
Kajiri Kamui Kagura- Magatsu Chisomebara vs BlazBlue Continuum Shift- Condemnation Wings - Wings makes me enjoy the vaguely GG-esque sound.
Enchanted Arms- Sayaka Battle vs BlazBlue Central Fiction- YOMOTSUHIRASAKA - See previous.
Xenogears- Shattering the Dream Egg vs Persona 5- Rivers in the Desert - Shattering the Egg is a nice, calming piece. The other? Ugh.

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk- Guidance vs Xenoblade Chronicles- The One Who Gets in Our Way - I'll take a good boss theme, sure. Guidance wasn't bad, probably the best Atelier track I've heard in the tournament. Tough draw.
Final Fantasy VI- Searching for Friends vs Final Fantasy VI- Terra - I actually think Dark World is the best FF6 overworld theme. Beyond that, Searching for Friends is passably good and catchy, while Terra's overrated. But yeah, should have nommed Dark World. Really an amazing track that fits what's going on like few other tracks in a game.
Final Fantasy VIII- Legendary Beast vs Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth- Footsteps of Time - Eh.
Xenoblade Chronicles- Engage the Enemy vs Okami- Ryoshima Coast - Meh.

14
Imperishable Night- Love-Colored Master Spark vs .hack//Link- Carl’s Theme - Neither of these are much in my opinion, but at least Love-Colored Master Spark is less aggressively tiresome.
Final Fantasy XV- Veiled in Black vs Terranigma- The Way Home - Not familiar with either, but I enjoy the mellowness of the The Way Home.
True Love- Ending Theme vs Dark Souls 2- Majula - I'll take an okay piano piece over more Dark Souls mehness. I've not been impressed of what I've heard of the OSTs in this tournament.
Xenosaga Jenseits von Gut und Bose- Fatal Fight vs Berserk Millennium Empire Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War- Sign - No comment.

Suikoden- Island Fortress vs Chrono Trigger- Battle with Magus Just a really tough draw for Island Fortress.
Suikoden II- The Chase vs Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Battle! Zinnia - That's the best Pokemon music I've ever heard, but sadly that's not a high bar for me. The Chase takes it by a mile.
NieR- The Wretched Automatons vs Xenoblade Chronicles- You Will Know Our Names
Final Fantasy X-2 – 1000 Words Orchestral vs Disgaea: Hour of Darkness- Planet X - Own nom bias plus not being on board with the whole pop song vibe right off.

15
Darius Force- Super Nova ~Lame~ vs Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel- Exec_Flip_Arphage - Other track wasn't bad, but AT music's a tough draw.
Crash Bandicoot 2: Rock It vs Chrono Trigger- Singing Mountain - Another tough matchup. Sorry, Rock It, just a bad break.
Deemo- The Witch’s Invitation vs Demon’s Souls- Tower Knight - Did not like either at all, so it's a question of which I dislike the least. Tower Knight it is, I guess.
Raiden V- Crystal of Abyss vs Front Mission 4- Hostiles - Surprising, Crystal of Abyss really grew on me as I listened.

Koudelka- Waterfall vs Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation- Liberation of Gracemaria - Good epic music, how uncommon. That easily takes this.
Super Smash Bros.- Pop Land Stage vs Shovel Knight- Strike the Earth! Plans of Passage - Meh.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn- Penitus vs Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War- The Unsung War - Don't like either much. Been one of those rounds.
Dies irae ~Interview of Kaziklu Bey~- Methuselah vs Bayonetta- Red & Black - Meh, but Red and Black isn't bad. Just not my thing.

Finishing tomorrow.

16
Dragon Quest III- Adventure vs Mega Man 2- Wily Stage 1+2 - Terrible draw for Adventure. Also dang it, I should have nominated the shrine music from DQ3 SNES. Completely forgot, too bad.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair- Ryukotsuki vs Splatoon- Calamari Inkantation - Calamari's doing a few too many things.
Kidou Senshi Gundam F-91- Act 12 vs Bastion- The Mancer’s Theme - Mancer's Theme does nothing for me. Other track's okay so it gets the win.
Wild ARMs XF- Intrude Upon Happiness, Plunder the Future vs Pokémon Sun/Moon- Guardian Deities Battle - Don't really like either of them.

Vanguard Bandits- Dingdingding vs Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies- Megalith ~Agnus Dei~ = Both are mid-range for me but Megalith just steals it.
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean- Survival From the Force vs Bloodborne- Gehrman, the First Hunter - Not a tough one.
Lunar Silver Star Story Complete- Go Go Go vs Tales of Xillia 2- If It’s For You ~Song 4 u~ - If It's For You was surprisingly good. I like Go Go Go so this was an upset for me.
Final Fantasy VII- Anxious Heart vs Kingdom Hearts- It Began with a Letter - No contest, Anxious Heart is excellent.

17
In case CK needs the notice, I finished my vote this morning, as promised.

Quote
Didn't notice someone nomed RKS, whoever did it, thank you.

You're welcome. My only regret is that I didn't nom more of it.

18
Mega Man 2- Metal Man vs Ys: The Oath in Felghana- The Strongest Foe - The Ys track just didn't do a lot for me.
Final Fantasy Tactics- Antipyretic vs NieR- Shadowlord - See what Cid said. This is just a late round quality match that drew early. Bad luck to whomever loses. To be honest, Shadowlord had a shot if it didn't take 3 minutes to pick up.
Super Smash Bros. Melee- Menu 2 vs Rosenkreuzstilette- Luftfest Sleipnir - Just like the RKS one a lot better. Considering I nommed it, that's expected.
Within a Deep Forest- Adventures vs Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria- How Wicked Ruler - VP2's track is generally better here.

Love Live School Idol Festival- Watashitachi wa Mirai no Hana vs Fire Emblem Fates- The End of All - Really don't have much to say here.
The Legend of Zelda- Overworld vs Secret of Evermore- Hall of Collosia, Chamber 1 - Don't like SoM, but that track's good.
Atelier Violet- Izareya vs Legend of Legacy- Twin Dimension Battle - Atelier Violet's track lost this more than the other one won it, but whatever.
Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- For the Savior vs Golden Sun: The Lost Age- The Doom Dragon - No contest here, really. Other track isn't bad, though.

Tournaments / Re: Music Tournament of DOOM 2017- Round 1, Topic 1
« on: June 06, 2017, 12:00:18 AM »
Heroes of the Storm- Dva Music vs Dark Souls- Nameless Song - The D.Va one I don't like at all, while the Dark Souls track doesn't do much for me, but it isn't actively disliked. It feels more like fancy elevator music more than anything else, but good enough to get the win here.
BlazBlue Central Fiction- HAKAISHIN vs Persona 5- Life Will Change - Hakaiwhatever is bland in my opinion, while Life Will Change is...wow okay, BlazBlue wins this round.
Granblue Fantasy- New World Order vs Tokyo 7th Sisters- Twilight - New World Order is...I'm not sure what, but it's not to my tastes. The other one's okay in a light pop-ish sort of way. I won't say I quite like it, but I wouldn't moan if it came up on the radio.
XCom 2- Spark Operational vs Chrono Trigger- Corridors of Time - Spark Operational feels like epic music for the sake of epic music, which is inherently anti-epic. It's just trying but not breaking out to me. Oh the other hand, Chrono Trigger. Not a hard choice.

Final Fantasy XV- Reel Rumble vs God Hand- God Hand - I wanted to like Reel Rumble, but it quickly grew old on me. I'd hate to have to listen to it even remotely often in a game, its charm vanished about a minute in. Dunno why. On the other hand, the singer in God Hand is a huge no to me.
Undertale- Death by Glamour vs Chrono Cross- Fate, God of Destiny - Both are okay but not great. A coin flip of 5/10s for me, Chrono Cross nudged past. Death by Glamour would've beaten most of the top half of this round, just bad luck for it.
Tokyo 7th Sisters- Hello… my friend vs Dark Souls 2- Old Dragonslayer - I'll confess, I like the J-Pop track. I think the trick is that with the lyrics being a mystery due to the language barrier, the simple upbeat nature of the music shines. I dunno, I don't like much pop otherwise. Conversely, I'm not the biggest fan of most 'epic' music tracks. Some are good, but most leave me cold. Old Dragonslayer is one of those.
Trails of Cold Steel II- Phantasmal Blaze vs Spyro: Year of the Dragon- Harbor Speedway - Meh.

Lots of misses this round, don't see most of these going far unless they draw favorably in later rounds.

Music Tournament / Re: Music Tournament of DOOM- 2017 Edition
« on: May 20, 2017, 02:12:43 PM »
Going to start with just one and edit them in over the morning.

Lufia 1 - The Sorrow of Parting. It's a sad, melancholy song that gets me with the opening each time. A non traditional starter, but I think Lufia 1 and 2 both have strong OSTs. Also I'm obligated to start with something retro.

Hellcore 2.0 (Doom 2 custom MegaWAD) - Industry. It's one of those songs that's just catchy, it fits in the levels its used in and is good to listen to on its own merits.

Sunlust (Doom 2 custom MegaWAD) - Ocean Flute. It's the last thing you'd expect from Doom music, but it really works as its own thing. I think it works better out of context of the level it was made for.

Bravely Default - Wicked Flight. I'm not up on Bravely Default personally, but I've ran into the track and I just adore it. Great music, really has a top-notch feel and sound.

Rosenkreuzstilette - Luftfest Sleipnir. It's just an upbeat platforming game track with rock elements. It works, man. It works.

Tales of Graces - To A Sea Of Dancing Snow. I have a weak spot for winter-themed music and this track really works. It plays in some of the villages of the game's Russia-alike, nailing that feeling of winter combined with a decidedly melancholy air.

Ducktales Remastered - Moon Theme. What can I say? It's an update to the classic 8 bit version.

Ducktales Remastered - Mount Vesuvius Theme. This is the opposite. Ducktales Remastered including a new final area and it naturally had a normal track. However, they included an 8 bit version. Tossing this in for the symmetry with the previous entry.

Lufia 2: Curse of the Sinistrals - Battle 2 Lufia 2's boss battle them remixed for the DS remake. I don't think it's the strongest boss battle theme for tension, but it makes up for it for sheer musical appeal. It's fun to listen to.

Speed of Doom (Doom 2 custom MegaWAD) - Getaway Back to Doom? Sure. Anyway, more custom-made Doom 2 music.

Disgaea - Planet X An old favorite I came back on recently. Has a nicely alien and techno-ish feel to it, which is a good take on what Celestia is to a demon.

1. Your child is bullied quite frequently at school and the school/teachers are unwilling or unable to address the problem. Eventually, your child beats one of the bullies quite badly, resulting in the bully being hospitalized and the school threatening a long suspension. How would you react?

I'd bail my kid out of jail first, since no way that sort of fight doesn't get the police involved these days. It doesn't matter if the kid is in kindergarten, that's just the sad society we live in.  Anyway, on one hand I agree with how the kid handled it. On the other, getting hit with charges usually means you did something wrong. So in the mess of that, I'd get a lawyer. I wouldn't be thrilled with the child, but I couldn't find much to be upset about.

Quote
2. You are on a federal jury, overseeing a white collar crime case. The defendant stole billions of dollars from pensions and siphoned off to his private accounts. You know people who were affected by this, though no one in your immediate family. The evidence presented by itself is however shaky, as the defendant's high priced lawyers got several key pieces of evidence tossed out.  Do you find the defendant guilty or not guilty?

Not guilty. I don't like it, but jury trials are set up in a specific way for a reason. Convicting beyond the scope of them is a bad, bad, bad thing. It leads to people (even moreso than now) convicting based on personal bias and opinions. This assumes that shaky evidence means reasonable doubt exists. If it's more borderline, I dunno.

3. You get your first job. One of your coworkers is extremely unpleasant and rude and indirectly lead to your termination from that job. Years later, you run into this same coworker doing a menial customer service job. They do not seem to remember you, and provide okay service to you. The business provides a website for a customer survey after the fact. If you take the survey and give the cashier a bad review, they could get in serious trouble. Do you take the survey? If so, what do you put down?

Nah, no need to be vindictive.

Quote
4. You cut off a delivery truck at a gas station. You go and get something from the gas station and head back to your car. The delivery person is still there and is upset. Do you say anything?

An apology's a good idea, so I'd do it. Unless I think the guy is about to take a swing at me, anyway. Then I do it besides my car if possible, or at least from a distance.

Quote
5. You accidently find out that one of your coworkers is using illegal drugs while at work. The person doesn't know that you know about the drug use. Management will require the person to take a drug test (Penalty of termination for failing it) if you tip them off about the drug use. Do you say anything to management? Your coworker?

I tell management. Someone who can't control their basic impulses and can't respect the law at work really shouldn't be there in the first place. They're a liability that needs help.

Quote
6. You accidently bump into another car while in a parking lot. There's no one around to witness the event, and there's no real visible damage to either car and you are in a hurry. How do you handle it? Do you wait for the person? Leave a note? Just leave?

Tough one. Either I leave a note or I go. I'd like to say I leave the note, but I really don't know.

Quote
7. You are unemployed and applying for a dream job, and get the interview. You are qualified for the job. The only issue is that you are short six months experience for the minimum requirement. Because you left the previous employer on good terms, they tell you that they'll lie and say you worked another year at the company than you did to help assure that you get the job. Do you accept this help?

No. As much as I want to, it's the sort of stupid lie that can come back and bite your ass down the line.

Quote
8.You place a modestly large order at a fast food place which happens to be very busy. They screw up your order and give you far more food than you paid for. You don't find this out till you're pulling out of the parking lot. Do you return it?

Judgment call. Probably not, since I know it'll most likely be tossed. I've have orders wrong both for and against my favor, so I prefer to roll with it.

Quote
9.  An experiment is ran by doctors. They take 1000 victims in the late stages of Alzheimer's and perform medical experiments on them, including brain surgery. This is done of victims with no close living family, so there is no one to give consent. The entire experiment is hidden away so there are no legal or ethical challenges to the experiment. This ends up leading to a cure that halts the progress of the disease, and opens up other treatment options for brain diseases. What should happen to those doctors?

Uh, if they're not capable of giving consent and there's no relative to do so, wouldn't they have someone appointed who can give consent? The question's flawed on those grounds, as even if a few didn't have anyone who could give consent, it wouldn't be that hard to find plenty of test subjects who do.

The article isn't really important as much as a placeholder, as it's related. So what do you all think about Obama deciding to do a prisoner swap with the Taliban? It's definitely a marked shift in US policy, if nothing else.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories:
Adell: 7.5/10. Always pulls his weight, even if he never truly excels. A fine main.
Rozalin: 5/10. Guns are mediocre and her specials don't really make up for it. She's not bad, just not great.
Tink: 2/10. Has utility with his movement speed and not much else.
Hanako: 2/10. Early Disgaea caster. You know the problems here.
Taro: 4/10. Didn't get much out of him.
Yukimaru: Meh/10. Don't care.
Etna: 5/10. Not unusable, just a bit bland.
