Sylvando-(DQ11) Dragon Quest 11's resident Paladin/Jester mix. Something of a boss fighter in game, definitely questionable how he translates to the DL.
Endir (I Am Setsuna)- I am Setsuna's main character. Decent stats but nothing outstanding.
Caspar (FE3H)- Three houses is well liked/why not.
Ramza (FFT)- Talk about the king of bad DL translations. The gap in DL rank between him and the wonder twins is depressingly small.
Kylin (SaGa)- Saga Remaster? Good. Kylin? Less good. The master of space magic is stuck as a monster.

Rules:

1. Don't vote on characters from games you have not played. Just leave them off the list.

2. Your vote will not be counted if you don't rank at least 7 characters in each division. Feel free to do them though.

3. Characters are not fighting other characters. You are just ranking them from best overall to worst overall. Just try to vote honestly and based on who is best.

4. In this first round, the top 4 characters in each division move to the winners list, the characters ranked 5th-8th move to the losers bracket, and everyone else goes off somewhere and dies.

5. If a character does not get on at least three lists, he/she will be eliminated due to not being well known enough.

1. A law that raised the smoking and vaping age to 21.

2. A law that banned home schooling and restricted private schooling.

3. A law that jailed parents who avoided/refused vaccinating their children without medical need (IE children with autoimmune disorders)

4. Term limits on congress? Something along the lines of two terms for the senate, six terms for the house.

Tellah- OHKO damage in Light but oof, that durablity/speed.
Sacred Slayer- The healing and Mdef is good! Less good is the offense.
Locke- Wishes FF6 physicals were better at endgame. Also hates his armor selection.
Lucca- Hates fire defense almost as much as she hates her physical defense.
Rico- Why not?

It's here. Week 1 is in the books and the Dolphins and Bucs are already screwed. Sorry Scar.

Playoff guesses:
AFC:

1. Steelers  2. Raiders. 3. Patriots 4. Jaguars 5. Ravens 6. Chiefs

NFC:

1. Packers. 2. Eagles. 3. Falcons. 4. Rams. 5. Seahawks. 6. Lions

Surprise bust in AFC: Bengals.
Surprise success in AFC: Jaguars. Seems like a reasonable guess, the Colts and Texans are both going to be awful.
Surprise bust in NFC: Cardinals. Might struggle to get six wins. Redskins are going to be bad as well.
Surprise success: Rams. Seahawks offensive line is going to get Wilson killed, Rams could sneak and win the division.  Eagles too. Fuck having cornerbacks when you're generating that kind of pass rush heat.

I'd be hosting this. There any interest in this? We have three of us in Fairfax County (Myself, Shale, and Ciddy). I can put up guests/have a pretty spacious townhouse. Could do it in December or January, depending on when people are available.

Most people use social media to one degree or the other. What I'm asking here isn't what you use it for, but rather a few people you follow on social media that entertain you/etc. I'm avoiding friends/etc, more people I follow that I don't know closely.

The Popehat nexus: Twitter.com/Popehat & twitter.com/nonwhitehat & twitter.com/dprk_News- Ran by a couple of lawyers (One a lefty, one a righty) who are united by their support for the 1st amendment. They recently split into two different accounts, but I'm treating them as one for this. DPRK news is a NK parody news feed and it's hilarious, especially for it's much deserved shitting on noted idiot Piers Morgan.

Marbozir: youtube.com/marbozir: Polish guy who LPs strategy games (Civ, Xcom) on youtube. He updates constantly and does a good job making extremely hard games look very easy. He's pretty funny as well, which is something you need when the RNG gods screw you over in strat games.

Ariel Burgess: facebook.com/artistarielb: Artist who did the wheel of time cards. She is tremendously talented and very good at interacting with her followers.  Her main focus is WoT though she does other things now.

Sean Davis: twitter.com/seanmdav Conservative blogger and cofounder of the federalist. He's far more conservative than I am, but he's also hilarious and frequently tees off on things that annoy me.  he's also at the same 'screw all of these losers' point I am at with politics so that helps.
