Welcome everyone!  It's Week Two, and that means it's time time to take a look at who kicked ass and who failed more than usual last week!  First up...

As a note, don't worry too much about "Villain" distinctions.  Evil is as evil does.  Or something.

Anyway, prepare for another week of madness and mayhem!  Presenting...


Magnificent Bastards

vs.
Emperor Palpatine (Star Wars) vs. Lex Luthor (Superman)

Well, of all the great bastards of Star Wars, I figured it would be best to take not only the one with a visual image, but also the one who didn't fall to horrible decay in the prequel trilogy.  Seriously, that has to count for something.  Anyway, manipulative and strong as the gods themselves, Emperor Palpatine is quite a bastard, controlling the galaxy, dominating those who oppose him, and destroying the Jedi.  Of course, if you look at the New Republic's current outlook in the storyline thus far, maybe he wasn't THAT evil...

Kevin Fucking Spacey.  Oh, and can bend the laws of matter and energy conservation (and pure logic) as evinced in Superman 4.  Seriously - he's about as evil as a baker and their turning upside-down of the world of math with the EVIL Baker's Dozen.  And hell, even in Smallville, which has gone relatively crazy at points, Lex has still kept his awesome intact.  Says quite a bit that both competitors can say that about their source material...

Mr. Burns (The Simpsons) vs. Kim Jong-Il (Team America: World Police)

He blocked out the sun, controls all the power in the town of Springfield, owns the soul of all who work for him, and may very well be immortal.  He's evil.  Granted, gets shot by a baby, but everyone has to have their weakness...

Though he may be a cockroach (...surprised?), the greatest terrorist that ever rived is not someone to be trifred with.  He's got nukes, and he's got a (oddry nobre) pran to use them on.  And he's so ronery...

Odio (Live-a-Live) vs. The Cavity Creeps (YOUR FUCKING TEETH)

Just, kind...hah.  What point is there for love, kindness, and compassion?  Just end the fucking world, already!  APOCALYPSE NOW!!!!!!

Just...why?  I mean...Lucas...the Power Glove...what's the point of chasing some little brat?  You could GET LAID BY ALL THE GIRLS IN THE SCHOOL.  Seriously - GIRLS.  THAT.  LIKE.  VIDEO.  GAMES.  Dumbass...

Just...why?  YOU'RE A GIANT FUCKING GUINEA PIG PIRATE...WHY ARE YOU FLYING TO THE ANDES MOUNTAINS?  GO SMASH SOME SHIT, OR TAKE OVER CUBA!

Adam (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) vs. Dr. Facilier (The Princess and the Frog)

Just...why?  You suck, Adam.  Now, whether you suck more or less than Jasmine is neither here nor there...but man, what the hell are you motives?  When your death isn't the last episode in the season (and you're replace by THE CHEESE MAN), you FAIL.  

Just...why?  You have the power of Voodoo, Hoodoo, things you ain't even tried...AND friends on the other side, and yet you rely on a convoluted plan that requires two FROGS to align with you?  Man, just go mind control the President.

Lex Luthor vs. Emperor Palpatine- Pretty epic battle here... but Luthor is constantly crushed by one person.  Yes, it's Superman, but the guy does have pretty blatant weaknesses and Luther still can't ever win.  At least Palpatine destroyed the entire fucking Jedi order and actually would have killed the only relevant Jedi left alive if Darth hadn't decided to grow a conscience.  Palpatine loses points for being 0-1-1 in all time fights.  (Loss to Samuel Fucking Jackson and tie with Yoda.)  But Lex... well he doesn't fight at all.

Mr. Burns vs. Kim Jong-Il- Doesn't talk like a dumbass.  Kim Jong just isn't scary.


Odio vs. Cavity Creeps- Not the Cavity Creeps
Exdeath vs. Demona- Succeeded in turning humans into Gargoyles.  That says something at least.

Bowser vs. Uwe Boll- Fails, but possibly the most persistent failure of all time.  Mad credit for that.
Starscream vs. Dr. Wily- Again, both fail constantly, but Wily is simply a legend at it.  How many games is that now?  Also, Wiley is a badass Goalie in Megaman Soccer.

Lucas vs. Guinea Pirate- Guinea pigs are too cute to be evil.  Also Lucas was the better player.  Fuck the whistle.  (I think it was Lucas winning that before the douchebag kid cheated.)

Lex Luthor vs. Emperor Palpatine- Man.  Finals-worthy.  I'll own up to it though; I like Star Wars more than JLU, and that's really the only sane way I can tie break this.
Mr. Burns vs. Kim Jong-Il- Voting based on the Real Life version, despite the Team America tag.  Saves me some work.

Odio vs. Cavity Creeps
Exdeath vs. Demona

Bowser vs. Uwe Boll- These are... epic, epic matches.  Clearly a lot of time went into them.
Starscream vs. Dr. Wily- *shrug* Starscream is a sentimental favorite.  'sides, he's immortal.  HIS SPARK WILL NEVER DIE.

Lucas vs. Guinea Pirate- Guinea Pirates were hardcore.
Adam vs. Dr. Facilier- No vote.  I'm not feeling 'look up two people'.

Exdeath vs. Demona - Less boring.

Bowser vs. Uwe Boll - Less redeemable. Bowser occasionally dabbles in good. Uwe Boll, not so much.
Starscream vs. Dr. Wily - Argh, god, DAMN you OK. This is not a match that belongs in round 1!

Lucas vs. Guinea Pirate - Once more, I fail to care about this division.

Lex Luthor vs. Emperor Palpatine: I love Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor but the character has never done anything for me in any other medium I've seen (to be fair, never watched Smallville, which is I think another source of his hype?). Palpatine is mainly in two Star Wars movies I don't especially fan over (that is, ones that aren't Eps 4 and 5) but even so he is super-memorable and such a bastard.
Mr. Burns vs. Kim Jong-Il: I can't not vote for that picture of Mr. Burns OK used. It is wonderful.

Bowser vs. Uwe Boll: Uwe Boll is probably more villainous, but I prefer voting for the better character.
Starscream vs. Dr. Wily: I watched a fair bit of Transformers back in the day and don't remember Starscream at all. Kinda like Skeletor except Skeletor is cooler because he's SKELETOR. Dr. Wily, well... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpP_BKPa5Oc
